Historia
Since the day they unwittingly found themselves in the horror show of Carousel, Riley (the Film Buff), Antoine (the Athlete), Kimberly (the Eye Candy), Camden (the Scholar), and Anna (the Final Girl) have learned the rules of their horror-movie world. They've fought through story after story and come out alive—or at least preserved the storyline enough to come back to life. But their biggest challenge yet lies ahead.

interesting take
Revisado: 12-13-24
I read all the books so far in the series and was surprised at how different it was from the rest of most litRPGs. I liked the longer played out story lines but disappointed that a lot of the book goes back over stats. Glad a lot of holes were filled with this book though.

Historia
When horror-obsessed Riley Lawrence and his group of college friends arrive in the small town of Carousel for their Centennial Celebration, the few decrepit cars parked in the street don’t scare them. But when they enter a locked building, an animatronic usher hands them each a ticket, and the lights dim, Riley realizes they’ve entered the inescapable patchwork of a horror movie set. And they’ve each been assigned an archetype—Scholar, Athlete, Eye Candy, Final Girl—to play out as the curtains rise.

strange but unique take on horror and litrpg
Revisado: 06-24-24
When starting I felt like it was your go to traditional Welp their all gonna die kinda horror story. But, this really steps up. stories within stories and even accidental stories within them with the flavor of a litrpg, even as used to mystery and horror as I am, there were still things that had me going to the end. excited for book 2.

An alright story
Revisado: 05-17-24
Soooo much potential, but was disappointed that the advantage wasn't taken for just a little bit more character development or action scenes. It kind of felt like a script that would've been an epic movie but hearing it and reading it.... Still a very neat idea and good story sequence.

clever and gripping
Revisado: 03-11-24
The author really catches the attention throughout all the perfect run series but really kept the edge of the seat feeling in the third book. Not gonna lie, I had a hard time stopping once I started.

Historia
As the new owner of the worst business in history, Jack has a lot on his plate. His self-appointed “biggest fan” wants to finally meet, and won’t take no for an answer. The annoying cultists are back and cultier than ever. Plus, there’s a creature living under the building's crawlspace that must be fed regularly (or else). To top it all off, the entire town’s collective memories have been haphazardly rewritten, and Jack's placement in these recollections are decidedly unflattering.

Best and saddest story conclusion
Revisado: 11-01-23
Literally way better than I had thought it was gunna end based on Jack’s post over on the blog and definitely worth waiting for. Wish it could keep going but happy the way it ended on a somewhat open ended note too. Between MCP and Jack, you guys are the ultimate story telling duo

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Good read to pass the time
Revisado: 07-07-23
Overall like the book cause it called to my geekier side having had explanations of why and how everything happened but also had me gripping the seat a few times. The narration really brought hail mary to life
