I have read all of Denise Mina's previous books and liked them all; some were excellent. This is a huge dissapointment--overwrought story line that tries to bring in too many ideas and trends--podcasts, stolen antiquities, the Balkan wars, parenthood, anorexia, and on and on. I was glad when it was over.

The pace of the book is unrelenting. The main character becomes the detective, and she does an amazing job. I was thoroughly gripped by the story.

Excellent Saga!

Even though this audio book is more than 20 hours in duration, I didn't want it to end. It was so engrossing I wanted to listen all day every day. Fascinating, horrifying true crime story.
