Historia
It is indifference that leaves people alone and allows them to go their own way. It is love, tender love, that warns them and raises the cry of alarm. The cry of “Fire! Fire!” at midnight might sometimes rudely, harshly, and unpleasantly startle a person out of his sleep, but who would complain if that cry was the means of saving his life? The words except you repent, you will all likewise perish might at first seem stern and severe, but they are words of love, and they could be the means of delivering precious souls from hell.

Historia
Escape the enemy's deadly trap! The Bait of Satan exposes one of the most deceptive snares Satan uses to get believers out of the will of God - offense. Most people who are ensnared by the bait of Satan don’t even realize it. Don’t be fooled! You will encounter offense, and it’s up to you how it will affect your relationship with God. Your response will determine your future. If offense is handled correctly, you will become stronger rather than bitter. John Bevere shows you how to stay free from offense and escape the victim mentality.

An excellent book for any believer.
Revisado: 04-21-23
If you're looking to grow in your relationship with Christ, this book will support that goal. Offense is an issue that many of us wrestle with. Yet it's an issue that keeps us from growing in Christ and reflecting His love to those around us. This book is helping me to dismantle offenses that I have held onto for years. And I am thankful for that.

Historia
It's just a small story really, about, among other things, a girl, some words, an accordionist, some fanatical Germans, a Jewish fist-fighter, and quite a lot of thievery. Set during World War II in Germany, Markus Zusak's groundbreaking new novel is the story of Liesel Meminger, a foster girl living outside of Munich. Liesel scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can't resist: books.

A Masterpiece.

I found this book’s name on a list on the internet entitled “Thirty Books Everyone Should Read at Least Once in Their Lifetime”. I now see why it made the list. Simply put, a masterpiece.

This is a brilliant book!
Revisado: 08-22-22
For the past forty years, I've stated that the movie "To Kill a Mockingbird" with Gregory Peck was my all-time favorite movie. To my surprise, the book is ten times better than the movie! The book title showed up on a list I came across on the internet entitled "Thirty Books that Everyone Should Read At Least Once in Their Lifetime". So, I dove in. What a wonderful book. And Sissy Spacek nailed the reading. My one word to describe the piece, brilliant.
