Historia
The relationship between Freddie Mercury and Jim Hutton evolved over several months in 1984 and 1985. Even when they first slept together, Hutton had no idea who Mercury was, and, when the star told him his name, it meant nothing to him. Hutton worked as a barber at the Savoy Hotel and retained his job and his lodgings in Sutton, Surrey, for two years after moving in with Mercury. He was never fully assimilated into Mercury's jet-setting lifestyle, but, from 1985 until Mercury's death in 1991, he was closer to him than anyone and knew all Mercury's closest friends.

Jim Hutton is Bitter
Revisado: 06-14-20
Freddie was a very private person. Jim shares intimate details that Mercury would never want shared. He even says where he believes his ashes are even though he knows Freddie did not want that known. He makes Mary out to be the bitter one. From what I hear all three men working there knew Mary was going to inherit the house. Freddie even made sure they had somewhere to go. Jim even says in the book he bought him a place in Ireland. I don't even believe it was up to Mary to give them notice to leave. But they were given three months which is very generous. They were all unemployed after the death so they could not have afforded the upkeep of the place anyway.
I find the narrator's voice and accent very soothing. Makes up for the lies in the story.

Historia
Paul Bernado and Karla Homolka were so perfectly iconic as a newlywed couple that they were dubbed "Ken and Barbie". But their marriage had a dark side involving sex, death, and videotape. The "perfect couple" first raped and murdered Karla's little sister then kidnapped teenage schoolgirls whom they enslaved, raped, tortured, and killed while gleefully recording themselves on video doing it.

Badly Narrated
Revisado: 06-04-20
Very intreresting true crime story. But the narrator needs reading lessons. And I wish he'd swallow his spit.
