I did like the take on the gun free states but it was a bit over the top. Some of the tech specs were pretty weak as well (solar gen etc.)
My biggest complaint was the wishy-washy characters - I am a bad ass but am tore up about hurting someone and yet I am a super badass from second to second. It honestly felt like a prepper version of the first Twighlight novel my wife made me suffer through. Normally a RS fan, just not this one :(

The progression and expansion of AUD has been awesome. The new narrator DJ is TERRIBLE! So many mispronunciations it drives me crazy! I know it is hard to change narrators after establishing a character over 11 books but this really ruins the books for me!

Normally a huge fan but by book 12 you don’t need to recycle every character backstory and past encounter. Seemed like filler at times. And the self aggrandizing became a bit much - every book doesn’t need to stroke Morgan’s ego about how nothing would be this good without him. As always - timeline quite fluid -

Same great story - terrible narration!

Hard to change narrators on book 11 but that was a killer for me. The “voices” are amateurish and all the female characters sound like 80s bimbos.
Not sure if I can do book 12 after that - hard enough to finish this session :(

Very tired storyline!

This book was practically a synopsis of the last four; bad guy able to move large quantities of people across untold distance while overwhelming and killing all the local populations. Thank God Lucas can decimate them with half the number of people with an untold store of ammo and weapons. And oh yeah, meth head snake got doublecrossed again sorry for the spoiler.
