Wow...Just Wow!

You will not regret listening to this book. I can easily say this book has earned a spot amongst my favorites and I plan on getting other bools by Neal Shusterman. You will become immersed in this world and care for the characters and their struggles. My only regret is that I waited this long to listen to it.
Do not be worried about the narrator AT ALL! Greg Tremblay does a great job of blending/mixing up each character's voice so that there is never any question about who is speaking. He adds depth to each character.

Not Even Finished and I Want To Review It!

I am more than halfway through this book and I don't want it to end. I cannot say enough great things about the story and the narrator. I would be willing to watch a movie or tv show of this story. The narrator provides enough distinction between each character and gives life to the character Ice Blade.
This book is such a unique take on the superhero/supervillain story and shows how a person's path can lead them to either good or bad, they aren't just born one way or another. I liked that the story included superheroes who were actually really bad people despite the label of "hero". The same as our main villain isn't always a bad person.
Please, Please, Please, PLEASE!! Read this book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have and I will be truly sad when I get to the end. I hope that the author has more stories out there that I can hunt down.

Give it a Chance!

So I will admit, at first I wasn't a fan of this book. I wasn't sure about the narrator and how he was portraying the main character. However, after getting through a few chapters I began to become attached to Lawrence. I never thought I would root for a psychopath but by the end of the book, I genuinely wanted him to succeed. I had a great appreciation for the narrator and how he was able to portray the coldness and the mannerisms that psychopaths have and the selfishness that drives their decisions.
Give this book a chance and you will be hooked by the end!

I enjoyed the story and the characters. I would have preferred either the woman narrating all the chapters or if she had played female characters and the other narrator doing the male characters.

I loved the Abhorsen series by Nix. I honestly couldn't think of a better narrator than Tim Curry.
