Historia
In the aftermath of the brutal slaying of a sacred auk'nai deity, Cade and Nella Castus are taken from their home and brought deep into the wilderness. They must make their way back to civilization, traversing dangerous landscapes as they are pursued relentlessly by their captor—a winged abomination. TA Bruno pulls no punches in this fine blend of science fiction and fantasy. After picking up several years after the time of its prequel, Winds proceeds with a mixed cast of familiar and new characters while revealing a surprising amount of depth to mysteries only hinted at previously. Overall a great mix of action and world-building.
