The author had so many chances to split up the storyline in very interesting ways, but I guess he is sticking with his formula. 80% of the book deals with MC fighting or powering up. It's a bit tedious and a bummer that these great side characters are getting so little time.

This book is not only funny but it's well written and the voice actor is absolutely perfect! These characters are so enjoyable that the plot is somewhat secondary. I came for the publisher pack and stayed because this series is like a salve applied straight to the stress of living in 2022. Thanks for the ride Mr. Hutchison!

I'm all about characters and their journey. This series does a great job of helping create full rich characters. It does trade that off for world building but it's well worth it. You actually care when there is conflict and often you care about people on both sides. BRAVO!
