I disagree with some reviews that claim the biographical history, written here, to be shallow. I walk away with more admiration for Madison than I had ignorance prior to starting the book. Which is testament to biographee as well as the biographer.

It’s almost fiction

It’s incredible that such a life could be lived. With all the caveats and remarks of the time included, Napoleon truly was a Great Man of history who changed the course of the world forever.

While listening I thought to myself man what an epic story, I wish Dan would do a HCH episode on this topic. Then I realized the only thing Dan could add to it is his voice and presentation because this epic history rolls out just as captivatingly.

It’s Not Hyperbole To Say This Book Will Change Your Life If.....

It would be hyperbole and lying to claim this book will change your life just by reading it and (very important) not applying anything you’ve heard. However; Mr. Goggins revelations about the human condition and potential are life changing for those who are open to receive its message and apply them to their own struggles.

Beyond that Mr. Goggins story is nothing short of unbelievable; and that’s not hyperbole either.

The best shot in the pants I've ever recieved

Frankly Bishops message is nothing novel, it's been all been said before in books such as The Secret. No so much the energy aspect but rather the thoughts we have do effect the way we feel .
Where Bishop adds nuance is that he does believe that assertive good thoughts are beneficial but that doesn't mean they will do anything to further your progress in life, unless you conjuring positive thoughtsb was an obstical. No rather he says back up those assertive thoughts with action. Do or don't it is that simple.
This is not to say that the way Bishop goes about explaining his lessons in the book is typical aslo. Quite the opposite, his layman's way of explaining his theory is brilliant and very relatable. If frankly you don't mind a blunt and poignant style, which I don't.

At a manageable run time I will most likely listen to this again and reference back to it when needed.

#1 listen to this on 1.25 it flows quite nicely at that pace.

#2 Teddy is human potential, and this book very eloquently displays how that potential was achieved.
