Just reading for Belle, Burryaga, and Ember

This book gave me a Wookie Jedi force melding with a sentient tree, Burryaga, Belle are the reason these books get my audible credit. I am upset I am not elloquent enough to explain why Marcion Ro is my least liked Star wars villain ever. His own disinterest in the events of the overall story mirrored my own with this series. I will keep buying them so I can find out if Burry, Belle, and Ember survive

I would have prefered this book to have ended at around the 40% mark. The story up until that point really had me intrigued. Sadly, going forward from there took me so long to finally get through

Engines! But too many distractions

To avoid spoilers, this story has a few too mamy branches that are unrelated to the overall story. One in particular that, if removed, would make me revise my review to a 5/5 stars.

Not the book I was looking for...

I'm usually not a harsh critic on Star Wars books to tell the truth, I usually just love getting immersed in the setting from the great sound of all of these many productions. However the first two entrys to this trilogy really grew on me. For that reason I have to say this third entry seemed lacking to me. It was worth my credit but unfortunately I don't think this one will be relistened by me. To avoid spoilers, each of these books has a major crisis that is focused on. This book's crisis starts off very interesting! However the Jedi's handling of it seems so unusual that even the explanation given to us simply did not satisfy me. Ignore the Star Wars aspect, they simply take actions that seem contrived to help the bad guys, and this happens several times. In the end I will get the next book but I am lowering my expectations.

I remember several key points that were omitted from this version. The ending is actually much better unabridged and I'm sad they did include it with this production.
