Fennel Riegel was looking for a good time. After losing her job and winding up having to move back home, all she wanted was a night to forget herself in the arms of a random hookup. The Beginning

THis is the beginning to a set of three books. it ends in a bit of a cliffhanger, as you would expect, but if you found this series not to your liking, you could end here without too much of an issue. The book starts with Fennel's crazy idea to scratch an itch where she ends up meeting Trent, then continues her daily life trying to dig herself out of hole after she lost her job through no fault of her own. It turns out Trent is the head of her new employer. The narrator did a great job.
