I really think I would have enjoyed this book more had I read it. I am a great fan of audio books and listen to them all the time, so I know how a narrator can enhance, or detract from, the experience. In this case the narrator did not do the story justice. The narration was flat and he had a very distracting problem with his phrasing. It made it difficult to really become immersed in the story. As for the story, there were a lot of things that were just too implausible and several characters that were just one-dimensional. Not my favorite.

The narration is terrible, I have not managed to reach chapter 5 yet.

Something by josh Landon

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Taavi Mark?

Jack lefleur, Charlie Belmont or Sean crisden. There are many.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Tricks?

Not sure...trying to continue but it is just not working.
