This trip should be mundane and boring for Trevor. Granted, there might be some drama since he’ll confront his ex-wife about her partial ownership of his company, but Trevor thinks he can handle her. It should be easy enough. He can offer her some money, and she will give up her claim. There’ll be some paperwork and maybe a few tense conversations, but then his firm will belong to him completely. Trevor might crave total control over his business, but he’s about to lose everything…

Trevor is about to discover his hometown has more than just a new name. You see, Her Haven is now under the sway of female supremacy. Most people may not have noticed, but there are places like this all across the nation. In the small towns, women have voted to end male suffrage and independence. In fact, boys can be owned and sold. Better yet, the women of Her Haven have introduced a new system of designations for the boys within their borders. Men can be classified as either obedient males or disobedient males.

When Trevor arrives, he doesn't know any of this, but one of the town's police officers spots him. Officer Vanessa Harting pulls him over. Since he doesn't have a sponsor or a guardian who can vouch for him, she’s able to strip him right there on the side of the road. As he tries to fight, he’ll learn how this part of the world works. As a boy, he isn’t entitled to any rights or liberties. He doesn't get a lawyer or anything else, so once she arrests him, he's heading back to Artemis Prison. That's where he's going to be tamed and trained.

Trevor only has one hope: Elizabeth. Yes, she might be his ex, but she can't let him get locked up in a prison, can she? She’ll want to help him, right? It's not like she would take advantage of the situation. At least, that's what Trevor tells himself as he tries to negotiate with women who see him as little more than an animal in need of domestication…
