Acerca de esta escucha

A heartbroken Marquess. An Earl bound by duty. A forbidden match.

Nathaniel

After losing the love of his life over a year ago, the last thing Nathaniel, Marquess of Demming wants to do is attend one of the ton’s opulent house parties. But perhaps a fortnight of indulgence is just what he needs, even if it means he will return home alone…

But the moment the Earl of Knox walks through those doors, Nathaniel can’t help but feel drawn to him and his charm…

As their friendship grows, so do Nathaniel’s feelings and desires, and he starts to wonder if perhaps he is not the only one saving face.

Can Nathaniel trust George with his fragile heart? Or will his truth destroy more than just their reputations?

George

Goerge, the Earl of Knox knows the role he must play, even if his heart objects. Courting Lady Lily should be an easy alliance, but a chance meeting with the charismatic Marquess of Demming causes George to rethink more than just the expectations of his title…

Soon, George finds himself desiring more than friendship with the irresistible Nate, but can George give up everything he’s worked for in favor of his heart? Or will his admission ruin everything for them both?

Note: This is a spicy novella with 5+ explicit scenes and a guaranteed HEA!

A Story Well Told

I'm really glad this story was included in the series! This is book three, and while I enjoyed them all, this one was probably my favorite. Nate and George’s love story was beautifully told, and I loved every moment of it.

The narrator did a good job with both voices, though there were a few mispronounced words like "tryst." The heavy swallowing and sniffing were a bit distracting and took me out of the story at times. Despite that, it was a great listen overall!
