Oh dang, Vanessa is a sadist when it comes to her man.
Oh my goodness, Vanessa certainly is a sadist. He's put through more than I would have thought up. He certainly is loyal and dedicated.

Great Story
Mara Renaud is a new to me author. I loved the storyline. I didn't particularly care for the MFC. I understand the dynamic, but there was just something about her I didn't like. I suppose that's how it is supposed to go though, so it doesn't make any difference to my rating of this audiobook. My heart kind of broke for the MMC, but I'm an Empath and sometimes, as weird as it sounds, for me it does carry over into the fictional world. I wasn't too impressed with the narrator. I'm not sure what it was about them that didn't impress me. I really can't put my finger on it. I will have to check out other books that they have done before I decide yay or nay because it may just be that this type of book isn't them, or they could have been having an off day.

More luck next time
I was hoping for better than this. Sorry author, the story is good, but the narrator's voice is not very good, in my opinion. Maybe you can try the next book with a different reader.
