What made the experience of listening to Sometimes She Lets Me the most enjoyable?

The variety and the compelling nature of the story lines and characters made it very enjoyable. This audiobook contains many sexually exciting stories, each with unique characters, writing styles and tempos. For instance, one story has a frantic pace, following frenzied actions and impulses. Each story has different characters and different tones but they all fit into the overall theme.

What did you like best about this story?

Chapter 13 is written from a sweetly vulnerable perspective. There is an abundance of delicious and hot vocabulary to be enjoyed here. Chapter 24 has many highly quotable lines, such as: “I try to pull my consciousness from between her legs to say something intelligent.”

What does Tristan Taormino bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tristan's voice is crisp and captivating, sultry and animated. Tristan conveys the different characters excellently. She has a superb command of her own voice, outlining each story with fluency and dynamic expression.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, this is a book that I wanted to listen to all in one sitting, because most importantly, it's hot!!

Get a glass of wine and any of the other necessities, lay back, relax, and enjoy this audiobook solo, with a partner, friend, or partners! Then later on, look up all of the other works of Tristan Taormino! I've read many of her books and I highly recommend them all!

What did you love best about Sometimes She Lets Me?

I loved the stories and graphic erotic scenes which were very satisfying. I am not really into long drawn out scenes set up with unnecessary descriptions and dialogue.Therefore, this is perfect. The narrators sharp quick pattern of speech, graphic set up and delivery are perfect! Really enjoyed. This is blushing beauty in erotica!

What did you like best about this story?

Each story stands alone and each is strong in erotic descriptions, encounters fulfill by each conclusion. This is an air conditioner, ceiling fan, folded fan, an accordion piece of paper, cool breeze on a very hot Summer's day or a glass of something cold with extra ice cubes kind of sweet listening!

What does Tristan Taormino bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

A passionate reading which engages the listener as if an active observer. Details! She brings the listener into each story as if each has been personally invited to a front row seat by each protagonist and each scenario without feeling as if the listener is intruding, but, rather enjoying each delightful conquest.

Steaming Erotica!!

This is one of my first really butch/femme erotica of this kind read and so far it is one of the best enjoyed and others will have a high bar to even come/cum close (pun intended). I love directness in the characters graphic descriptions of erotic scenes. Yes, this is erotica at its best! This was exciting and satisfying. Now, for that really cold shower!

What did you love best about Sometimes She Lets Me?

While I listened with my headphones, I felt like I was a voyeur able to peek in through the window, to watch the characters come to life in the stories. With Tristan whispering oh so invitingly in my ear, I felt I had full permission to let my imagination soar.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sometimes She Lets Me?

I don't think I could name just one. Each story has a different theme and feel to it and that is what makes this such a rich ensemble.

Which character – as performed by Tristan Taormino – was your favorite?

Keesha in Tag. By the time I got to the end, I was just as excited as the heroine of the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I felt myself a part of the stories. I could imagine myself as the characters as they presented themselves in each new piece. Although I do seem to favour (personal preference) some characters more than others, I was invited into a world I have not explored or experienced but realize I would like to.

Any additional comments?

This book has given me a rich experience putting me where I never imagined I would be. It has given me permission to allow myself the the fullness of indulging the in sensuousness in each story. A totally new experience for me and one I absolutely treasure. With Tristan in my ear, I can go back time and time again and conjure up the nuances with each breath, each kiss, each wanton desire. I never knew I had it in me. Thank you Tristan and all the authors of these delicious narratives!

Good stories - poor narration

As much as I love Tristan Taormino and for vitally important work, she’s not the most engaging narrator - especially for these stories. I highly recommend checking out the books she’s written, even if they’re not available in Audible.
