Just erotica, but very good erotica!
Don’t expect a very developed story. It’s kinky erotica, period. But a good one, especially as an audiobook.
It seemed counterintuitive to have a multicast recording for a short erotica story, but that’s what makes it so good. The book is the first of a series of short stories about Ruby and the three men who work with her in the quartet. Each book focuses on the relationship between Ruby and one of those men, so having them interpreted by three different male narrators, and introducing them right from the beginning, makes sense.
The female narrator is great, and the whole book is through her point of view. And the male narrators, with their bouncy energy and their different styles of narration, made the book very enjoyable. I enjoyed the playful banter between Ruby and Steve and their obvious friendship–with a touch of attraction.
As for the narrator playing Steve, he knows how to play a joyful character as well as an alpha male, so he was perfect for this role.

Up next, Ruby and Steve
Up next for Ruby is Steve. They have a great friendship, and although Ruby has found Steve attractive, she didn't want to cross the line and risk messing up their friendship. Like the other guys, Steve has his kink (no spoilers), but as much as he wants Ruby, he doesn't think she'll be up for his type of fun. Of course, Ruby's up for pretty much anything, so they have their time together.
I didn't find this story as good as the others. Yes, this story is a quick erotic tale, but the previous two seemed to have more story and heat.
Ava Lucas narrates Ruby, and Teddy Hamilton narrates Steve, the main character for this story, but Jason Clarke and Connor Crais make appearances.
