This was a very good book that kept my attention throughout. Policewoman Charlotte, Callista’s sister and daughter of the Chief of Police, goes on an undercover assignment to rescue young women. Before she leaves, a new cop is brought in and they realize they are mates. They meet secretly before she goes on her assignment. While she is on assignment, she finds out she is pregnant. Several months pass with no word from Charlotte when she suddenly appears at his sister’s home. What happened to her in the months she was missing? Thankfully, she is still pregnant. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it.

Holly Holt did a very good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Charlotte meets her mate just before taking on the most important case of her career. While undercover, she must figure out how to not only save herself, but also get the girls out safely. it's a fast paced story

Not for children. Good sexy listen. Enjoyed the story and the characters. Look forward to more books in the series.

Helps pass the time while shut in👍🏼

The storyline is well thought out and keeps you engaged. These characters have great chemistry and give you plenty of heat. The narration was good. She might not be my personal favorite but she does give you a narration that is easily listened to. I recieved this book at my request in exchange for my honest review. If you liked the first book then you will enjoy continuing with this book. I would recommend those that didn't read/listen to book one starting there.

Trigger warning needed.

Book was ok. Lacked a much needed trigger warning. Geez. Narrator just awful, especially with such sensitive material. As with the previous book, she spoke with a staccato style, sometimes double spoke words or phrases, and missed every emotion possible.

Another great story with fantastic book. L.C. did it again with a great series so far. Loved is story and listening to it. Narrator did a great job too.

Hot Shifter cop

I did not like book 2 quite as much. It was a great story but the narrator lost me.It is worth a listen. I was given this audiobook free in exchange for an honest review.

Written like for YA or younger, but R-rated

I like fun and sexy shifter stories, and I understand they're not high literature, but I do need at least some semblance of good writing. This story however was written as if the author were a young teenager, trapping me as the reader in a very young girl's fantasies about how a romantic relationship works. Which is to say, nowhere near believable interactions between characters. In this style, the steamy scenes are quite a mismatch with the rest of the story, bordering on awkward.
For an erotic genre this book has very few sexy scenes.

Narration is fun, a fitting voice for this genre. And even though her male voices are overacted, I liked listening to her.

But, all in all, I would not spend a credit (or money) on this one, there are definitely better ones in this genre on Audible.
