This was a titillating erotic bdsm short listen. that I thoroughly enjoyed. The Dom seems to be a butt man and that's his main focus. and he plays the game very well . lol. Heat and laughs. The narrator was good. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Short and SWEET

This review is based on the audiobook so let me get my thoughts on the narrator out of the way so I can focus on those minor things like plot, character and so on (lol minor).

The narrator has a slightly nasally voice that makes her sound condescending unintentionally and her reading is robotic. A naked woman, bound and blindfolded as strangers grope her, should not be recounting the experience as if she were telling us about a dull day at work. Woman you were placed in a temporary slave auction you weren't eating a piece of toast at your desk. EMOTE! This does improve towards the end of the book but not significantly. In fact the best two lines (based on narrator's tone) were the last two. They finally sounded excited and invested.

Ok that little pet peeve out of the way lets discuss what actually matters...

The first thing I'll say is that the guy in this story seems to share my kink. He's more or less a reverse sadist, getting off on inflicting pleasure with a few head games. That's a good way to win points with me.

The girl, however, is more a passive object. Things happen to her and we see them through her eyes but I can't really say anything about her. That's not so bad, not every story needs to be character driven and a blank slate can help immersion, but some idea of who this girl is beyond that she's blonde and is an anal virgin. One particularly trying example came when she was forced to crawl and complained about it being degrading and humiliating. Um, you sold yourself as a weekend plaything in a BDSM club. What did you think was going to happen? A little backstory would have helped here. Did she come to the club after reading 50 Shades and misinterpret things? Was she not complaining but reveling in pleasure that the narrator didn't convey well? It's just a little hard to become the character when I don't know the answers to these questions. That said it does let the reader fill in the blanks and that can help you put yourself in the fantasy.

The plot, however, is simple and kinky. She's sold herself for the weekend and is used for the weekend. I don't know if she signed a contract or missed a safeword but when she tries to run they don't let her and I suppose that means that the "sale" is final. Ok, there are a few ways you could interpret that based on taste and that's great. It lets you make the story what you want it to be. The actual play is pretty simple. Fingers, plugs, PiV sex and some basic humiliation play. There are some toilet descriptions that are unpleasant but not too graphic. They seem meant to aid in the humiliation. Nothing is too intense but that's what you'd expect for a girl's first time. It's not like an experienced dom would jump her straight to the really crazy stuff. Primarily its all build up to anal sex; an act which the main character Frenchy-mcFakeName is understandably afraid of. Most people anal virgins will have reservations the way she does and they're conveyed very believably. I like how the dom plays with those worries. He uses headgames to make it seem worse and worse and that lets her understand submission even when the actual act doesn't quite live up the hype. Or maybe the hype makes the act better? You'll have to read to find out.

Overall its a short, sweet dip into a kinky scenario. Something to help you escape for an hour, maybe during a bubble bath. It's fantasy fodder plain and simple. Just what I like in a short story.

Sexy short story!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. This is a very short but complete story. I just wish that it was longer. When Frederique puts herself up for auction for a weekend, I don't really think she is ready for all that will happen. At first Regner seems like a jerk but then we find out that he is using mind games on her. He does plan on taking her anal virginity. I like how the author shows us Frederique's mental and emotional journey of many firsts. She has just begin to learn what she likes sexually. I also like how the author shows us Regner's true character.

The narrator does a great job of portraying the emotions of Frederique and the other characters. She is easy to listen to.

this was an interesting book stuck true to its theme. There was the initial meet, sexual introduction, fantasy erotica play, and I had a cute ending

Steamy but not as risqué as it sounds

Definitely erotica. There is a lot of introspection from the new “sub” in this book. There is not a lot of plot per se. it delivers on expectations.
