Nothing is sexier than a determined woman, qualities Katie Parker has in spades. What could be better than classic cars and a sexy mechanic?

Houston Moore ran as far as possible from his life as a Naval Intelligence Officer, right into a simpler life as a mechanic at Hard Ride. Having spent the last two years harboring a crush on his boss Katie, he can't believe his luck when she makes him an offer he can't refuse.

While "friends with benefits" is a comfortable position for Katie, Houston believes more is possible and knows how to get what he wants. But when Katie realizes someone's embezzling from the shop, things get dangerous. With Katie's life on the line, can Houston save her, and convince her there's more to him than just great sex, or will the sparks sizzle as the danger passes?

This was a delicious listen. I loved the narrator's voice. It was perfect for Houston and it was so great to have a strong female lead. Loved it!

Very fun, steamy ride.

What did you love best about Hard Ride?

I enjoyed the chemistry between Katie and Houston. I also enjoyed the backstory of someone embezzling from Katie's company.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Houston because he was just a sexy guy who knew how to give and take.

Which character – as performed by W.B. Ward – was your favorite?

Definitely Houston.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Hop in! It is going to be a bumpy ride.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed ths title. Katie and Houston's chemistry was off the charts and the steamy scenes were really hot. The mystery of who was stealing from the company was interesting also. I thought it was a great performance by W.B. Ward.

LOVED this story!

Would you listen to Hard Ride again? Why?

I would listen to Hard Ride again, I absolutely loved the story and I think the narrator did a good job telling the story.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the suspense, how you didn't know what was going to happen or who was behind everything that was happening.

What does W.B. Ward bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He tells the story in tones that make the scene. Otherwise you may not get the full experience.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I have no clue. I'm not clever with those kinds of things.

Trixie did an awesome job writing this book! I read it on my kindle and I listened to it being told at a later date and I just loved it all over again.
