I do not like giving bad reviews. This was awful though. The same thing was repeated over and over and over. I was a half hour in and felt like the same thing was just being restated every 5 minutes in a different way and sometimes with the exact same words again. I couldn’t continue and retain my sanity.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but this needs to be criticized because no editor read this. No editor listened to this after using the AI for the narrator which should never be done for a Deadpool book. I'm pretty sure they used a AI to write this story. In my ghetto home must have been repeated 30 times in the first few chapters. This is not how a book is supposed to be written. Horrible!

I tried to stick with it but just could not. Even when I listened to it at 2.0x it only made it worse. Telling me the same information in 2-4 sentences back to back is terrible. Having Deadpool address is was fine, he breaks the fourth wall. Hellboy doing it just felt wrong. The use of words repeatedly is also annoying. It was free and I still want money back.

I couldn’t make it through the first chapter. I’d love a refund. I don’t know who gave the go ahead for the story, but they should be firmly spoken to.

For real? It’s like terrible AI wanted to say the words ghetto and copycat 1000 times.

Cool idea but terrible implementation. A great deal of this narrative is repetitive especially the beginning. The fights were told rather than shown and they were all anticlimactic. The dialogue was awful with no depth. Adverbial chaos with an overuse of words like totally and definitely, if these words were missing it would have been better. The story needed more dialogue and imagery.

Deadpool and Hellboy team up but the story and writing were lackluster.
