Chelsea didn't mind being a club girl. Who wouldn't want a group of possessive alpha males on your side and in your bed? The freedom and the lifestyle allowed her to spread her wings while the rules and bylaws kept everyone in line. It was comfortable - safe.

His feelings for Chelsea were off the charts, but so far he'd managed to hide them and keep her at an arm's length thinking he was protecting her. Beautiful, athletic and sassy, she wasn't just another club girl, she was his girl.

Danger is fast approaching and Chelsea is in its direct sight. When secrets are revealed will Chelsea stay and stand beside the man she wants or will the urge to run just be too strong?

Review:
I’m a sucker for the motorcycle club trope. It’s one of my guiltiest pleasures. I was instantly intrigued when I found an MC book from a club girl’s point of view. I thought it would be refreshing to look at it from a female POV and I wasn’t disappointed.

Let me start by sharing how much I LOVE the narrators. Troy Duran has a magnificently growl-ly voice that is utter perfection for OTT alpha-holes in MCs. Elizabeth Hart is a familiar voice with books by Addison Jane and I enjoy her performances too.

Optimus, as president of the MC, is a force to be reckoned with. I adored his obsession with Chelsea and that he stopped seeing other club girls so he could spend each night with Chelsea. However his reluctance to make her his publicly drove me bonkers. His insistence that he was protecting her from himself was ridiculous and drawn out way too long. It did lead to a fabulously overwrought and emotional scene before Chelsea made an important decision. I loved the angst!

Chelsea is a head strong and intelligent FMC that knew what she wanted and what she would tolerate from the man she loved. It was wonderful to see a woman who didn’t give her power away and refused to settle for less than she deserved. I rejoiced when she was upfront with Optimus about her feelings. Miscommunication between two main characters and a refusal to confess your love is a stupid plot driver that is irritating.

The pacing of the novel was good. I wanted to keep reading and trying to guess what would happen next. There weren’t any slow parts that dragged. The plot was strong and less predictable than many of the MC novels I’ve read recently.

There wasn’t much spice but the spice it did have was good.

Overall I would definitely recommend Chelsea by Addison Jane. I look forward to reading more books from the Brothers of Blood MC. I can’t wait to jump into Blizzard’s story next.

Loved this Book! It kept me engaged and did not disappoint. the MMC's & MFC's Narrator's Created Pictures of all Events. Acted effortless. Writer gave great POV of something of what the Girl's did or go through.

Suspenseful Betrayals and DRAMA

Ok, so going into this I was skeptical because its about club girls (not my favorite) but this book was good. This is a nonstop action packed, suspenseful and intriguing ride to go on with Optimus and Chelsea. I enjoyed it!

Troy Duran and Elizabeth Hart did a fantastic job bring these complex and captivating characters to life.

Fast moving story to escape in. Some drama, little angst, and suspense. Not a favorite of books ending on a cliffhanger. Loved the narrators.

I was apprehensive about this listen... Boy would I have lost out on a great new series... Addison Jane is a new author for me but from today on she'll be an automatic purchase for me... Great narration along with great story! well worth the credit!

Optimus & Chelsea: triggers- trafficking, kidnapping, domestic abuse, assault. OMG, I'm totally living this series so far. Optimus is the president of this MC chapter and Chelsea is Harmony's best friend. Chelsea is also a club girl but over the years she had been chosen by the president and the president only and essentially had fallen in love with him. But Optimus will not make her his old lady despite his true feelings and now with the Mafia on their backs, he definitely won't. There's a lot of push and pull with Optimus and I can honestly say that I felt every tear that Chelsea shed. Chelsea is just as strong as Harmony. She is definitely old lady material. But how much rejection can you take? He won't be with her but he also won't let her serve the club as is her duty. Oh, the drama. Now the Mafia is making threats and Chelsea is the target or that's what they think. There's so much going on but it's really well written. It's 🔥 🔥 🔥, mysterious and emotionally frustrating all at the same time. I really enjoyed reading this one.

I listen to a lot of audio books. I drive about50 miles a day for my job. So, I’m in my car a lot. I hate driving. So, I need anything that Will keep me sane. And when I find a good audiobook or even better, a good audio series, I am elated. And I have found that in the club girls series. I have listen to them all more than once. Maybe a few months in between. But they always keep me interested and they always keep me sane. The only thing I would say is negative about the narrators, is that they use the same ones for each story in the series. I like it when they have different narrators for different characters. I don’t like picturing the same Voice for the same character. So if that’s all and ask, is that sometimes you change it up a little bit. Otherwise perfecto. Thank you

This was in audible plus and it was a good listen. I do wish there was duet narration. Troy Duran is fantastic so I would have preferred a bit more from him.

What I liked- I like the originality. The chemistry between the main characters was volcanic. Plus, they genuinely cared about each other.
What I didn’t- there is nothing I don’t like about this story.
Verdict- highly recommended for 18+

Chapter 6 and I already HATE Chelsea… how do you “like/love a certain biker” then go out with a friend who is single and supposedly like but take over a guy who she thinks is nice? Why not push the convo to her shy friend? She is one of those girls who are like “i have a nice body so all the men should live me” 🙄 not a nice person at the core despite what she went through…

She’s not a good friend either… stuff “goes down” and she will call her friend later? Then her friend is the one calling her? What kind of friend isn’t concerned? Selfish and self serving… I couldn’t connect with characters like this… she cares about herself but pretends that she’s a nice person… 🙄 folks like this are snakes and that’s all I could see about Chelsea… I’m regretting getting into this book… I wish I started with Blizzard and Rose’s story… I kept wanting to know about them more than Chelsea and Optimus was dumb to like her… Troy Duran couldn’t even make me love it…

I might read Rose’s story but this was a waste…

Waste of my time… it had promise but the FMC 😫😫
