Acerca de esta escucha
Alyssa Lewis meets her best friend, Carmen, at a cafe, where she catches a glimpse of a stranger, Dylan Orville, who immediately captivates her with his impeccable sense of style and confident demeanor.
However, their brief encounter leaves her wanting more, as she loses sight of him before she can approach him.
The following day, Alyssa encounters Dylan again, this time at a club, hoping to strike up a conversation.
To her dismay, he behaves completely differently, coming across as rude, overly flirtatious, and attempting to impress her with his wealth.
Feeling disappointed and irritated by this stark contrast to her initial impression, Alyssa questions her judgment.
Their paths collide once more in the most unexpected setting a business luncheon. Except, this time, she's not just a smitten observer; she's there to represent her boss's sock company.
The sophisticated stranger turns out to be Dylan Orville, CEO of a prestigious advertising firm. But when Alyssa demands an apology for his rudeness at the club, Dylan insists they've never met, leaving her even more furious.
Mrs. Lewis drags Alyssa to attend a family banquet hosted by her college friend, Mrs. Orville. As Mrs. Orville introduces Dylan as her first son and twin brother to Byron, Alyssa realizes her mistake it was Byron who behaved poorly at the club, not Dylan.
Dylan, seizing the opportunity to play petty, refuses to accept Alyssa's apologies unless she agrees to a fake relationship to thwart their mothers' matchmaking efforts. Reluctantly, Alyssa agrees, seeing it as a way to keep up with her mother's similar antics.
