To friends and coworkers, Liam seems like a fairly successful man. Yes, he was recently laid off from his job, but that’s should only be a temporary setback. More importantly, he knows how to summon a sense of gravitas. He can appear important. It's easy for him to create this sense of confidence and dignity. That’s why, no one—not even his wife—can really understand the urges that lurk beneath the surface of his personality.

Deep down, Liam knows that he isn't supposed to be in charge. He isn't a powerful man. On the contrary, he's the kind of boy who should be owned, trained, and made to obey. He has actually made this point to his wife several times, only Kelly doesn't believe him. As far as she can tell, her husband has been trying to manipulate her. It's going to take someone special to show Kelly what she could have. If she owned her husband, what would she be able to accomplish? What would she be able to achieve?

Jessica, her best friend, might be that person. You see, Jessica has had a crush on Kelly for a very long time. And now, while Liam struggles to find a new job, perhaps she can use this to her advantage. Maybe she can take Kelly away for a couple of nights. They could hit a spa and enjoy a girls' weekend. In the meantime, maybe Kelly could send him off to work with Sonya, a woman who owns both a gym and a dungeon where errant boys like Liam can be trained, both physically and mentally.

Over the course of a weekend, everything starts to change. Not only that, Kelly gets a very important email. She's about to start a new position in a new country. She didn't think it was possible, but they’re headed to Athena. This is a small island, one with a very specific social structure. Women take control as the boys serve the superior sex.

Liam thought he could surrender. Now those urges and beliefs are about to be tested in ways he never imagined. If he fails, he might lose more than just his wife; he could lose his freedom forever.
