O M G I am loving this series! I didn’t even know exactly how I wanted this book to end. This book has a ton of sexual scenes but not all the typical ones. Jinx actually punches someone in the face during one. If you are not easily offended then you will love this book. Jinx is shy and a little socially awkward but she is learning to get past that. These characters are crazy and I love them. Kendall Grey could not have found a better narrator for this series. Lessa Lamb does an excellent job and even does a little singing in the book. I absolutely love Lessa’s voice. I definitely recommend this book/series.

Rockstar romance about a new upcoming band. Three band mates become involved. m/f, m/fm, m/m I absolutely love the smokey and silky of the narrator, Lessa Lamb.

Lessa Lamb may not be new, but she is new to me and I can't wait to hear more from her! She really brings these characters to life with her singing, voices, and even phone calls.
Kendall Grey has even improved on her writing from the first book and look forward to more from her.

Beats, book 2 in the ‘Hard Rock Harlots’ series.
Let me first mention I love how the books title ‘Beats’ is woven into the entire book.
The main character Jinx is a drummer, so ‘Beats’ references to that, but it’s also about heartbeats and physical beats (you know what I mean when you listened to the book).
Book 1 ‘Strings’ does the same thing, where strings are not only a reference to musical strings, but also emotional heartstrings that connect people.
You really feel the Strings and Beats in these books, and that’s proof of some excellent writing!

This book has less humor and more drama and sex than book 1.
Jinx is completely different from our former main character Letty, so naturally this book sets a different tone than book 1.
I personally prefer Letty’s unapologetic humor and more lighthearted story, but I still enjoyed ‘Beats’ a lot.
The sex is equally hot as in book 1 (VERY HOT!).
I loved Letty’s contribution to this book, with her (was it 12?) step plan to ‘get the man’, haha.
I really enjoyed getting to know Jinx, Toombs and Rax better, and continue following Killer Buzzflow on their Tour.
I also liked getting to know Jinxes brother, and hope to hear more from him in future books.

You could read this book as a stand-alone story, but I would highly recommend listening to book 1 first. (it is TRULY AMAZING!)

The narration was just perfect! Same quality performance as in book 1, and I enjoy and appreciate it so much!

This book is fantastic! The combination of Kendall Grey’s writing and Lessa Lambs narration take this book far and above many of the books I’ve listened to!!

I love these characters... well.... most of them anyway!!! They are real and so interesting that it makes it difficult to stop listening!!! It took me way less than 2 days to finish the audio... and I did NOT get my full night of sleep!!!!

I recommend anything authored by Kendall Grey... and even better if the Narrator is Lessa Lamb!!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

I loved Strings first but this book about the quiet drummer Jinx was awesome! She’s so different than the outrageous personality of the first book which I really liked how soft spoken and shy she was- it added a lot to the story and Lessa Nailed it! She’s super talented bringing the characters to life. Hot!

Another hit by Kendall Grey, with perfect narration by Lessa Lamb.

Like Letty from Strings, Jinx was a piece of work. Kendall Grey is a great writer and teamed with Lessa Lamb they delivered a very enjoyable listen. This was a great addition to the Hard Rock Harlots series. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

it's truly tough to imagine anybody who could perfectly put a voice to Kendall Grey's work... but Lessa Lamb does it perfectly!
gives it the perfect attitude and spunk just like the writer has already bestowed upon these amazing characters!
love all her books... fingers crossed for more from the series!

Beats is the second book in the Hard Rock Harlots series and I have to say I was just as sucked into the story of Jinx and Toombs and Rax as I was with the first book of this series, called Strings.

This is a story about the band Killer Buzz Float and a few of it’s assorted mixed up and hard rockin, hard partying band members. Everyone is looking for love, happiness and the groove you just fit into naturally and of course the road to true love is never easy.

Jinx’s life prior to joining the band was quite a sheltered one. Of course she holds that information to herself, not willing to share the details. Recent troubles at home and a huge attraction to Toombs, the guitarist and former drummer, cloud her daily life and mess with her beat. That’s unacceptable for the drummer of the band. Her struggle to get it back puts the band at risk if she can’t attain it.

Toombs on the other hand, has some pretty hefty demons of his own that seem to only be squelched by Rax. They are childhood best friends and Toombs follows in whatever Rax demands and desires. Rax has a proclivity to threesomes and seems to be happy continuing on this way forever. Toombs follows along happily until it comes to Jinx who he secretly has deep feelings for. The push and pull here is what really makes this story un-put-down-able.
Kendall Grey’s storytelling here is truly incredible and with the dulcet tones of Lessa Lamb as narrator of the audible book it is off the charts #1 Solid Gold! Well done ladies, well done.

And the twisted story continues on here in Beats with Jinx, Toombs and Rax
