Susan Walter is a recovering screenwriter and film director, who started writing books to kill people (only the bad ones) because it was frowned upon in real life. Her first two novels, “Good as Dead” and “Over Her Dead Body” (both #1 best-sellers on Audible across all categories), are set in the movie business, but then she discovered there are places that are even more dangerous. With the help of friends in more interesting professions than hers (an FBI agent, an Olympic downhiller, a pilot) she is now murdering people on airplanes, on ski hills, and in safehouses while on the run from organized crime. The winner of the (not terribly) prestigious WIFTS screenwriting award for “All I Wish,” the film she wrote and directed starring Sharon Stone, Susan Walter's eclectic resume also includes stints as a “failed concert violinist,” “unwatchable TV news reporter,” and “dazed mother to two teenage girls.” A native of Boston, she suppresses her irresistible accent to avoid stink eye from sports fans across Los Angeles, where she now resides.
