Leslie (Robertson) Householder was born in Anaheim, California in 1971. She grew up in Utah, Singapore, Indonesia, and Arizona, and then spent her senior year in New York. Upon graduating from high school on Long Island, she attended and earned her degree from Brigham Young University in Mathematics Education, deeply impacted by one professor’s insistence that the main purpose for studying Math is to gain problem-solving skills. Life's twists and blows ultimately sent her on an entirely different path. Her passion for math, however, was not lost on her new ventures. The series of difficulties she and her husband endured caused her to ask new questions (as she had been trained to do by her Mathematics professors), and it was her appreciation for dependable mathematical principles that led her to also believe in, seek for, discover, test, and prove new principles or laws that she suspected must be governing these other aspects of her life. At one point she felt so destitute that she called the police on a neighbor kid who broke her broom. After seven long years of searching for answers, she ultimately discovered the principles you'll read in her books. They're not new. But it was her hope to bring them to the world in a new light Now Leslie is a mother of 7 and an internationally published, three-time best-selling and award-winning author and speaker. Her first book, Hidden Treasures: Heaven’s Astonishing Help with Your Money Matters was written with her own church peers in mind, but it has found wide acclaim with readers of all religious / spiritual backgrounds worldwide. Her second book is an allegory, The Jackrabbit Factor: Why You Can, (also available as a free download at www.jackrabbitfactor.com). Credited for helping one man acquire the "World’s Best Job" out of 34,000 applicants, The Jackrabbit Factor has also been translated into multiple languages including Turkish, Spanish, Persian, and Chinese (available in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China). Nevertheless, her personal favorite - her Opus - is Portal to Genius, the sequel to The Jackrabbit Factor. During the 2008 recession, and after having invested too much in real estate at the top of the market, Leslie and her husband found themselves questioning anew the principles she had written in The Jackrabbit Factor, as they faced losing everything. In the end, she could affirm that they did still indeed hold true, (though it was one of their greatest challenges to apply them in some of their most terrifying financial circumstances). Furthermore, the wrenching adversities they experienced ultimately gave them access to the discovery and understanding over 100 additional principles, which she worked into the sequel. Based on the premise that the solution to every problem is only an idea away, Portal to Genius follows three story lines: a young couple at the end of their financial rope, a father who needs a medical miracle for his son, and a businessman who needs $4.5 million by Wednesday, as they each discover how to access their own portal to genius. Since 2002, Leslie has helped people all over the world discover and apply the Rare Kind of Faith that causes things to happen for powerful life changes. Through story and shifts of perspective, Leslie aims to help her readers crush every challenge, achieve every goal, and vanquish every monster under their beds. Above all, Leslie is a dedicated wife and mother of seven children. Learn more about Leslie and her work at www.RareFaith.org
