Australian author, Kylie Orr (she/her) Working as a freelance writer for over 15 years, Kylie’s articles have appeared in The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, 9Honey and Kidspot amongst others. Her debut novel Someone Else’s Child won the Dymocks/Fiona McIntosh Commercial Fiction Masterclass scholarship and was longlisted in the Richell Prize, the MsLexia International Novel Competition and commended in the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards. Kylie loves to explore the darker side of humanity, focusing on broader women’s issues such as motherhood, inequality and the challenges of society’s expectations. Melbourne born and bred, she lives cliffside in the Yarra Ranges on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri people. She shares the space with her four children, just the one husband and a cat named Alfie.
