Welcome! Come and learn a little more about award-winning, bestselling author and screenwriter Jenni James. She’s an incredible force to be reckoned with—with over 50+ books and several screenplays. Jenni’s determined to recreate the entertainment industry and provide more clean, family-friendly content with incredible men and women and inspirational stories that touch hearts and change lives. Stories that make you laugh, cry, engage, and inspire. She calls it ‘teaching without preaching.’ After years—frustrated with subpar entertainment: Dopey dads, teens without morals, crude humor, and often frustrating character arcs, blasé writing which was only meant to capture the moment but not truly resonate—Jenni has decided to use her writing superpowers for good and bring light, joy, hope and family-centered growth to a very struggling entertainment structure. Why not incorporate comedy with beautiful messages that inspire and leave you thinking long after you’ve left the pages (or theater)? Each hero or heroine in her stories is a compelling, strong, non-perfect person learning to grow and become better. Jenni’s main goal is to have you walk out of a theater (or put a book down) and be happier—more joyful and bright than when you picked it up. There’s enough dark in the world; her mission is to produce good content that uplifts, worldwide—and truly brightens and creates joy for everyone involved. So, if you’re ready for incredible doses of positivity and heartfelt messages that make you laugh-out-loud, move you to tears, and hold your family tighter, then you’ve come to the right place! JENNI’S BOOKS Jenni is known as a beloved author for her bestselling, diverse, clean works in adult, young adult, and children's genres. She is also known for her Regency Romance series (The Bluestocking and the Dastardly, Intolerable Scoundrel, Lord Romney's Exquisite Widow, and Lord Atten Meets His Match) and her acclaimed inspirational children's book: Prince Tennyson, as well as many others. Including her first book to film: Not Cinderella’s Type. MOVIES Jenni's been commissioned by production companies all over the world and currently has in the works engaging screenplays such as: Never Forget—The Miracle Bowl –the true story of a disabled college team manager Mel Farr and the incredible Jim McMahon and how together they inspired their college football team to come back and win from insurmountable odds in one of the greatest games of all time. (Other notable players on the team—Andy Reid, Steve Young, Tom Holmoe, Via Sikahema, Clay Brown and even starring Danny Ainge) The Wright Way—The inspiring true story of music composer Benjamin Wright, Jr. and how he became one of modern music's incredible legends working with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Outkast, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Gladys Knight, Earth, Wind and Fire, Whitney Houston... any many more.  Nothin' for Christmas—It's Home Alone meets Sister Act in this zany, hilarious family Christmas movie starring Quinton Aaron (Big Mike from The Blindside) Where Are You, God?—A 10-yr-old's powerful, faith-based journey to prove if an invisible God really does exist. Jon Voight is attached. Unbroken Circle—Five interracial older men and a grieving little girl change the norm of what is family in this hilarious and heartfelt tribute to wisdom, love, and loss.   A Snowbound Christmas—A ranch-owning cowboy is stunned when his autistic daughter prays for a new mom during a snowstorm and a pretty, stranded lawyer arrives on his doorstep. His daughter is ecstatic, but he knows it'll never work out.   Inheritance to Love— Twenty years ago, Kimberly was left at the altar when her fiancée Michael ran off with her maid of honor. Now, she’s a divorcee who despises men, and Michael’s a widower about to lose everything. Unbeknownst to the other, each of them has received a million-dollar inheritance from their former boss if they can stay ten days in a secluded cabin, no internet, phone, television—just peace and quiet. Oh, and with each other. (Filmed. In post-production)   Crossroads to Home—Two estranged brothers (17 & 22), whose mom dies and sends them on a road trip to help them heal, not only from her death, but from the father that left their lives ten years earlier after a bitter affair. She arranges this trip to give them back the one thing they need most—their dad. Just because she couldn't get along with him doesn't mean they can't. It's hard, it's raw, it's beautiful, and so very, very healing. These are just a fraction of the projects Jenni has in the works. She currently has nearly 40 screenplays written—teen, family, romance, drama, historical, as well as a couple of compelling TV series.
