Donny McElvoy, better known as Donny Mac, was introduced to waterfowl hunting at a young age. For young Donny, The addiction to duck hunting was instantaneous and this sport has been his life long passion ever since. Donny Mac's involvement with has been far more than just a hobby; It's guided his life and career. He produced and hosted both regional and nationally syndicated shows about the outdoors for more than twenty-seven years. His regional Outdoor Advantage Show aired throughout the southeast. It proceeded his nationally syndicated show, The HuntFishCook Show with co-host Scott Leysath. Throughout the years, Donny Mac has developed many close friendships with legends in both the fishing and hunting world, and he has always taken their advise to heart. This has richly added to his own experiences and made him a better sportsman. In his own words, " More often than not, you're the student. Occasionally, you're the teacher, but most of the time you're the student. Always keep your eyes and your mind open to learning something new." This book is a compilation of his favorite waterfowl hunting recollections, stories, tips, tricks, techniques, and confessions that he has experienced, practiced, and passed down through the years.
