Christine was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and spent most of her formative years in a white house with green shutters on top of a plateau. She roamed the surrounding evergreen forests with her sister and a stalwart yellow lab, feeding her love of adventure a steady diet of stick forts and slingshots. After writing some really terrible Lord of the Rings fanfiction as a teenager, she started creating her own fictional worlds after college, and she hasn’t stopped since. Now, she lives in a rural pocket of the Pacific Northwest where the chances of uncovering portals are quite high. When she’s not writing, or raising her brood of littles, she pursues other creative outlets like baking sweet things and eating more than her share.
