Ardelle Holden is an award-winning writer and artist. Way back in the last century, she wrote an Arts Society column for her hometown paper and feature articles. In recent years she got distracted by a squirrel. Her art won awards in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 for photography and drawing in the Society of the Arts Annual Judged Show in Ajijic, Jalisco. On retirement, her first novel burbled to the surface of time. A Person of Interest, launched in 2019. Its sequel Murder by Bits and Bytes, launched in June 2020. And the third in the trilogy, Murder by Pins and Needles is due to be released in 2021. Now on to other genres. Ardelle has in the queue, an historical fiction, a psychological thriller, a series of children’s books under the umbrella of Grandmother’s Charms and short stories about her life in the bush and other wild adventures that could become a satirical memoir. She and Patrick raised two children working together in aviation, mining exploration, and in the wild rice lakes of northern Manitoba. Ardelle is chasing rainbows around her many artistic passions in Nanaimo, BC and Ajijic, Mexico.
