The #1 New York Times and USA Today best-selling phenomenon

Some things are worth waiting for….

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at that fateful Halloween party five years ago - an event that forever changed her life. What she never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she's building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing....

Cameron Hamilton is six feet, three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make Avery want things she believed had been irrevocably stolen from her. Getting involved with him is dangerous. Yet ignoring the simmering tension that sparks between them - and brings out a side of her she never knew existed - is impossible.

Some things shouldn't be kept quiet....

But when Avery starts receiving threatening e-mails and phone calls, she's forced to face a past she wants to keep buried and acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. If the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface with one less scar? And will Cam be there to help her?

And some things are worth fighting for....

Pretty good

Story was pretty good. Expected something more at the end from the main characters parents, disappointed in that. But the story wasn’t bad.

Great Listen

I actually really liked this book. I LOVED the characters and it had a lot to say but didn't leave me emotionally drained. A great love story thrown in that I couldn't quit listening to. Every woman needs a man like Cam. I think Sophie Eastlake did a really good job. At first I wasn't sure about her Cam's voice but it became him by the end and I loved it. this book was definitely worth the credit. looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Goofy Grins and Giddiness

Would you consider the audio edition of Wait for You to be better than the print version?

I love the audio edition but I have a weakness for print books. If I love an audiobook I will buy the book in print as I did with this one.

What other book might you compare Wait for You to and why?

Easy by Tammara Webber. One of my favorite books and I love the characters in it and the way trust is a huge thing in both of these.

What about Sophie Eastlake’s performance did you like?

She was amazing!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed and I cried and I mostly had a huge goofy grin on my face most of the book!

Any additional comments?

Every aspect of this story was engaging; from the lovable characters to the quirky dialogue and fell in love with this story! Wait for you is full of amazing goofy grins and giddiness.

Avery Morgansten has a secret—one that has her fleeing to the other side of the country to escape. She traveled across the country to escape her past and her cold hearted parents. The way she lives now is controlled by the incident. We all can guess what it is but we don’t learn all the details at once. Its slowly revealed to us bit by bit. But it will keep you curious regardless. So we are on a college campus with a broken girl. And in the beginning you will literally feel your heart break for her. She was let down by the people who should have been there for her and has lost all reason to trust people in general. She is making it day to day and that is all. No life experiences or fun or anything. Then in comes Cameron Hamilton. More like Avery come in, because her first day of class she literally plows him over. To her dismay she learns he is her neighbor and classmate. Cam is perfection, hes smart, super sexy, funny, confident in a good way and just AMAZING. But the one girl he wants doesn’t want to have anything to do with him. So he is very persistent and understanding. He asked her out EVERY DAY and she always said no. But he never gave up.
This story had no crazy plot to it but instead took its time to make you get to know the characters and fall in love with them. Every situation came alive and felt so real. I loved how I felt I really KNEW these characters. This is a beautifully written new adult romance - it’s captivating, engaging and very romantic. I loved both Cam and Avery and not to mention Avery’s new friends Brittany and Jacob, Cam’s friend Ollie and the turtle Raphael. I have getting a turtle and naming it that on my bucket list now! Lol.
The whole theme to this is all about trust. Will Avery be able to let go of her demons and let Cam in or will they shadow the happiness she could have with him?
This is a beautifully written book and I can’t wait to read what comes next!

Compelling & Captivating Love Story that will pull your heart strings

This is a well written love story from beginning to end. The skillful unveiling of both Avery & Cam’s secret was worth the read. Definitely a story you want to finish once you begin. I would’ve liked to see more “hot, steamy, romantic, sex scenes” for sure!!! This is definitely A MUST READ! More geared towards a mature audience.

Great story! Narrator not so great

I loved the story line. I did get aggravated with the main characters a few times and wanted to smack them.

The narrator wasn't the best but due to the story I was able to overlook it.

Makes me want to be 19 again! OMG

What made the experience of listening to Wait for You the most enjoyable?

The brewing lust, love and suspense was the perfect mix for OMG!

What did you like best about this story?

Once again JLA touched every corner of my heart. Made you dive into the lives of every person I her story. Many thanks girlfriend!

What does Sophie Eastlake bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her voice isn't a strain to be believed but rather smooth, perfect for the ages and sex of each character. A big fat 10+.

If you could take any character from Wait for You out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Sorry but it would have to be every single one. How do you pick the best slice of cake when you can have the whole thing!

Any additional comments?

Please, please write more just like this, not too sexually explicit but sweet and tingly.
