A Great Series!

This is a hot, sexy, suspenseful mystery romance. I was pulled in from the first to the end. All three books are wonderfully written. The characters are nicely developed and the story line is great. The books move fairly fast but it's a good thing, any slower would have taken away. I absolutely LOVED Meghan Kelly's narration! She is an absolutely superb narrator. Each character gets their own voices and emotions. You never have a problem with who is talking even with so many characters. I really feel her narration brought the stories to life, as usual. Put an excellent story into Meghan's hands and you're in for a real treat! This is a series I'll be recommending to my friends!

This was fun!

Book 3 took me a bit by surprise. I didn't quite expect the direction the book went in but it was a fun book. All of them are. I'm not unfamiliar with Kristen Middletons books nor the roamers and lycans. I like that she sticks to the same rules with each paranormal story.

Chelsea and Melody are cousins who upon strange circumstances end up with a group of vampires and lycans escaping Faye the evil shape shifter. Each chapter has a new twist as the two girls end up on almost any teenagers dream adventure with a bit of trouble and some heartache.

The characters are likable, the wrting is exciting and the plot is always moving forward. It's a great read to pas the time!

Worth checking out

Would you consider the audio edition of Venom Boxed Set (Vampires and Rock Stars) to be better than the print version?

I think they both have pros and cons, but I like the audio version more

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

A little shocked but felt it was fitting

Which character – as performed by Meghan Kelly – was your favorite?

The English waitress

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not really no

Any additional comments?

This box set is alright, the first book is good, easy to follow and its interesting seeing the plot build. It has a lot of twists and turns some you can see coming and others you don't, most if not all of the characters are interesting and the ending is good.
The second book is a bit of a let down to me, it seems to be trying to hard to be interesting and trying to get you to want to read it. the plot isn't as smooth as the first book and jumps around a bit, I also didn't find the romance to be as interesting in the second book. however, by the end the plot picked up and the story got really interesting sadly it was the last few chapters.

Things really pick up in the final book, the plot has a lot going on and is easy to follow, smooth and has some really good twists. I love it more then the first two for sure, I think it rounds out the series well, and some of the new characters are so worth the wait, I like how fast the action is and how deep the story gets wile leaving you wishing for more to the series.

about the Narrater,
I love her voicing all the female characters, she does a good job, however, some of the females sound the same, and nearly all the male voices just sound like a girl trying to sound like a guy. Her english accent is good, and makes me wish the whole book was set in the UK.
With all the male characters I've found that its a bit easier to over look it and take it for what it is, but I think it would have been more enjoyable read if it was done by both a male and female, or even just all in a female POV.
overall I think she did a good job with the book she was given to work with and it was a nice listen.
I got this book for free in return for my honest review.

Cute but kinda rudimentary

The story was cute but vary young writing. Like they pulled out the thesaurus when ever a big word was needed. And a lot of he said she said instead of making it self explanatory.

Not what I expected.

First, I hated the narrator! All the male voices sounded flat and gravely. The females sounded like hookers, even Chelsea's Mom! The accents were horrific!!!
The story was choppy and jumbled, the attitude of the Talia/Vanessa character was weak and just plain stupid. She trusted a complete stranger that told her she killed her sister, convenient. Then she blythly, believed and went with a "horrible vampire" instead of trying to figure out how her sister seduced her man, who is also a vampire.
Then the Chelsea character was so naive, she was infantile. Melody was streetsmart one minute, but dumb as dirt the next.
I really hate YA romance novels and this series has not changed my opinion.

Great Narrator

Meghan Kelly did a fantastic job with the different voices and brought the characters to life. However, the story itself was a bit disappointing for me. The dialogue between the characters was immature. Basically on a high school level. While there were some good points that kept me engaged I was never connected to the characters. Perfect Vampire romance

Books like these are exactly why I love the paranormal romance category! Slade and Chelsea are both strong, intelligent main characters that keep you coming back for more. The supporting characters, Liam in particular, are entertaining and gives the story a lighter side. I love that each character has their own voice and accent! This was perfect in a box set because I could not stop listening!
