I just love these books. I enjoy the thought of having 2 husbands that care so much for their wife. Total dedication! Vanessa Vale creates such wonderful books and I just love your narrator, Kylie Stewart. A+

Audible Premium Plus borrow. Three POV. The Bridgewater Ménage Series, book 5 of 12. The narrator read well and adopted three different accents (average American, British, and Scottish). There were unnecessarily long pauses between chapters. Listed 3 hours 11 minutes; I listened at speed 1.50 for 2 hours 7 minutes. Trigger warnings: Rebecca's brother dies; light bondage; @n@l play with a butt plug; a baby is born; multiple ménage marriages; DP.

Cecil, Rebecca's brother, brings her to the USA when he finds out her father has promised her to a Duke who is a widower looking to sire and heir. Cecil's plan is to move to Bridgwater with her and create a home but he falls from a horse and realizes he's going to die from internal injuries. Cecil quickly marries Rebecca to Dashiell McPherson, his military friend, who lives in Bridgewater, MT. Dashiell is Simon's brother, one of Olivia's husbands' from 'Their Captivated Bride', and he and Connor were soldiers with almost all of the other men in the Bridgewater series. When Rebecca arrives at the Bridgewater ranch she's greeted by the McPherson brothers and tells them she was married by proxy to Dashiell by Cecil. They are surprised but Dashiell is quick to accept his fate and introduce her to her second husband Connor MacDonald. Rebecca thinks Cecil was trying to punish her father and humiliate her by arranging this ménage marriage but Dashiell and Connor quickly explain their reason their community believes in ménage marriages. Rebecca was raised in a strict boarding school for girls and doesn't believe it's proper so they take her to town and she is quickly wed to Connor as well. Over the course of the next two days Rebecca comes to understand their ways and fall for her new husbands. Laurel gives birth to her first daughter with Mason and Brody and Olivia is pregnant with her three husbands' baby. JP

Unfortunately there is a definate pattern to these books and the worst one is how much the women are being rushed, but then this one did well to show that the standard of the time was worse.

I love this author and these series because it show what we can do when we put our trust in each other. I would also love to see the completed series here for example. Their Conquered bride, their wanted bride, their blushing bride etc
