Another great story . I wish there was another book in the series. Thanks.

Great story

I didn’t dislike this book but I just really didn’t connect with Sutton. I understand that people grieve differently but to break up with someone in the hospital right after a major car accident? She takes selfish to a whole new level. I just couldn’t get over her wishy washy decisions. I liked the HEA because I liked David. Thought he was way too good for her though.

I just didn’t really like Sutton

Well, this was a good way to end the whole Wright series! It was an emotional roller coaster. Sutton was extremely frustrating but hindsight was that she made me feel as frustrated as she felt. it was a very interesting experience. David was also very impressive in his development. He was always trying to help fix/heal Sutton, but in the end, that was something that ONLY Sutton could do for herself. David also needed to find his own limits of his rescue mentality to move forward, but his nature to be patient with Sutton was exactly who she needed. I found myself being the Morgan of the entire book as I would've told Maverick's mother off LONG ago. Linda's warranted mourning for her own son was something I could see a mother doing and in the end, I pitied her. She wanted Sutton to mourn as she mourned a mother losing a son, not a husband, and all it did was confuse Sutton who couldn't separate her own feelings from Linda's. For the time they mourned, they needed each other to feel their pain, but when Sutton wanted to move on, to be happy, Linda kept imposing her own thoughts and feelings. So as soon as Linda took things too far with Sutton by threatening her, the irony of Sutton forbidding Linda from being in her and Jason's life was the push Linda needed to see what her grief was doing to Sutton. Then Sutton's push came when David left despite her pleas to realize she pushed David so hard, he didn't believe she actually wanted him. By the time she does, it is too late. But thank God David came back for Jensen and Emery's wedding!

I was very impressed by the psychological development and thought that went behind these characters and their journeys. It was a fantastic book and very well written. However if characters making "smart logical choices/conclusions" is your thing, you'll be very frustrated by Sutton's character and how her emotions are the one thing that get between her and David actually finding happiness together. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies and that is where you'll find her self-deprecating and sabotage relatable.

I enjoyed the narrators. I enjoyed Aaron more so than Lynn though. Lynn would talk so low for David's voice that it contradicted Aaron's speaking voice for David. Which makes me think they didn't share a studio, listened to each other, or record this together. Ah well, that's me nitpicking. I didn't notice anything other than that about Lynn's narration.

Loved the complex, emotional journey!

Great book and performance just wish it was done in one book instead of 2 four hour books.

Mizz K.A. ends her Wright Duet series with a tale of suffering, grieving, juggling as a single mom, Sutton, with a hero, David, who knows profound loss, too. This couple struggles with lots of up & downs, but downs seem to always overshadow them. Mizz K.A. gets my top score of 5 fingers up & 10 toes for this romance of inner strength, unconditional love & allowing new love into one's hearts.

GREAT ENDING

I loved this one it did not drag out to the point of boredom. The characters were unsure at times but not to the point of frustration for the reader.

David & Sutton’s story concludes with a happily ever after, marriage and a daughter on the way.
Sutton’s struggles with letting go of her grief and letting herself love again. David did and would do anything for her. They were adults that communicated. Maverick, Sutton’s deceased husband sounded so much like an angel I just wish we knew more about their relationship. Narrators did a fantastic job.

These last two books are a great wrap up of the Wright Family. You have to read all the books to get the family dynamic. Even though they do stand alone they are spportive of each other. Only wish Annie had a HEA.

Fantastic Series of books.
