many times a story will become redundant with way too much explanation. not this one.

nice story, great for passing the time. not one I would call favorite. the Hero was just so mean an arrogant I just did not like him at all, not until the end.

This book has a pretty good storyline but the narrator's accent made it hard to understand the words.

This book delivers exactly what it promises. An old fashioned Harlequin romance. Lynne Graham excelled in this format.

This was one of the better Lynne Graham’s I’ve read (listened to) recently- however, I couldn’t help being distracted by the narrators voice for the male characters. When she voiced the “H”, I cringed every time- it was kind of creepy. I thought her voice was pleasant for the h but flat and monotone and just.. weird... for the H.
I think this one would have been better if there had been dual narrators. It was difficult to get through, in that sense.

Billie was Geo’s mistress up until two years ago when he announced he was marrying “the right kind of woman“. Feeling passed over Billy leaves the leaves the affair and realizes she is pregnant with his child. Fast-forward two years when Geo has divorced his wife and begins the search for Billy. When he finds her, she does not want to resume their affair and is anxious to prevent him from finding out her secret -
Billie has given birth to his son. Adamant that he protect and care for both the child and Billie, Geo married her. One of the wedding guest is his ex-wife who is a despicable woman who tells Billie Geo only once the child. Geo does love both his wife and son proves his commitment to their marriage.

A good story

This is one of those books where you are definitely told the story. The dialogue is minimal, as is the conflict. The narrator did great with the accents, but her male voices are just ok.

I sometimes buy the ebook version of these if they sound somewhat interesting. Glad to see they’re included in the romance package. I definitely would not use a credit or pay full price for these.

I loved this story. It had just the right amount of spice and romance and suspense and of course my favorite tropes: the jealous ex. It definitely kept me wanting more and I did not want to stop listening. I will highly recommend this book.
