Okay, but needed more development

I liked the tone of the narrators voice, but didn't love his female voice. He did a good job though, I was surprised that it was a male narrator with the name Persephone Rose. The sex scenes were also a little over the top. I liked the story, but I couldn't connect with the characters. Laura is a hard person to like because she is just so rude. Calvin, who is a really nice person, saves Laura when she is brutally beaten, and she is rude and elitist towards him for most of the story. Laura is a wolf shifter, who was shacking up with the older alpha of her pack. The alpha is challenged and doesn't have much confidence he'll survive, so he tells Laura she should leave. She agrees, but for some reason she waits till the last minute, so it doesn't go well. The new alpha attacks Laura (this may be a trigger for some readers), but luckily for her, they leave her for dead, but she is saved by human vet, Calvin. Somehow, Calvin keeps helping Laura, and lets her live with him. The two are attracted to each other, and things begin to develop. I think there needed to be more time spent on Calvin and Laura growing close. They do have some sweet moments, and some hot moments. The pack is causing problems in town, so Laura needs to step up. I liked her strength in those scenes, and I liked the bit of action. The story just needed some more development, and Laura needed to chill out a little bit more. Also, spongy tip, is not a good descriptor for a penis head. Overall, I liked it.

Great story!

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised that I got sucked into the story. The story is very entertaining with a good storyline.
The narrator does a great job with the characters and voices of each character. This was my first time listening to this narrator and they do a good job. They put the right amount of emotions when need.

entertaining at the very least

So, I really only picked this book up because Persephone Rose narrated it. This dude's over the top style entertains the hell out of me. The story itself? Meh... Alpha and Beta shifter romancey sex book... The short answer is, I was entertained for a couple hours and that is good enough for me.

Laura and Calvin

Calvin, a veterinarian, finds Laura, in wolf form, by the side of the road after she was dumped out of a truck. He fixes her up and takes her home. Then she shifts and he finds in woman in his house. This was a pretty good story but Laura is really, really rude. Clearly she is an alpha female. There is an interesting turn of events with trouble back at her old pack. I love shifter romance.

What a unique and different shifter romance. Great story line, just way to short. We have a human vet find a beaten wolf beside the road after tending her many wounds he takes her to his house to heal.

What a surprise and shock to find that the wolf has shifted into a beautiful woman. She sees her saver as a weak beta male.

Love how different this shifter romance is, it's sexy, romantic, with some action and mystery, great hero.

I enjoyed reading this book.

Worst. Sex Euphemisms. Ever.

I seriously started making a list. These terms took the sex into the comedic arena. Examples: Tickled her nether lips. Globes of her rear. Throbbing, pulsing bar of heat. Sticky.... her female nectar. And even, Buttocks. There were more but that’s all I made note of.
But seriously. The story premise was a good one and I found myself involved in the story to the end. Persephone Rose did his best considering the narrative, with great male voice. His female voice wasn’t as engaging, though.

All I can do is smile because it's A-OK 👌🏻

Female Alpha

This one has a different style to it with the Heroine being the shifter and Alpha no less and the Hero a human. The emotions you feel from the Hero are so sweet. Quick listen. Persephone Rose does a great job.

This Story Could Be So Much More

This story was just meh for me. I felt like the author could have really expanded this book and made it so much more....for example, what happened with Laura and Calvin? How did she lead the pack? Was she able to train her ex's grandson? There was just so much that was left open.

The narrator, did a wonderful job and is the only reason that I kept listening.
