About this listen

Belle Parker hated her father's vision of teaching religion to a small nomadic jungle tribe. She found them and their customs repulsive and felt her youth wasted in the hot stifling jungles completely removed from civilized society. She was young, attractive, and more than anything else, she wanted to travel the world and meet all manner of exotic men. Maybe even find one worth of giving her cherished and tightly guarded virginity to.

She actively avoided any kind of contact with the natives, and they, in turn, left her alone.Until a group of them, wild and fueled by intense sexual frustration, kidnapped Belle and took her far away from her father, intent on showing her just how erotically depraved they could be...©2017 Alexa Nichols (P)2017 Alexa Nichols

Not your typical missionary in Africa story

While definitely an adult story with detailed descriptions the story does present an interesting take on the missionary in Africa trope. Belle the daughter of a minister is uncomfortable living with her "party girl" of a mother and goes to live with her father who has dreams of converting Tribes to his faith. Belle comes along and in time is "Taken". This is her story and her realizations.

Out of an online story line.

While I found the story line to be somehat original, it also had elements of the same old predictablity that many stories followed. The were some new aspects that drew my interest, but in the end everything was just something heard before.

Taken is very intense but really good!

Another exciting but very serious story that only Alexa Nichols could do. This story was also tough and the most intense but very informative on the subject matter and the plot was great while the character, Belle kept my attention throughout the whole story. I really do recommend this to others.

But, if you don't like reading about characters being rape then this isn't your cup of tea and Alexa never holds back on shocking the reader while not sugarcoating it.

Most Blisteringly Intense Story Ever

This is the most blisteringly intense story ever... for the first time in my life I needed to take a break in the middle of a book.

If you superficially think that this is about a kidnap and gang rape - you are so wrong. The mind behind this story obviously has an extremely deep knowledge about human psyche and primal instincts and how they rule from the deep, the logical conscious mind we use everyday.

Just like author's other stories this one smashes the norms of civilization into pieces and tears down the borders of imagination; questions everything you believe and trust - from religious faith to the "strong and independent woman" concept - which is pretty fashionable lately. Puts the reader face to face with the cold harsh reality of the domination of pure raw physical strength and how an average person could be helpless against it.

The moment when main female protagonist let her self completely go will make you question yourself about almost any rule of moral you have - and everything you believe about your physical and mental faculties.

This tale dragged me into it viciously and completely filled my mind with it atmosphere. To do such thing it usually takes a huge production team from writer, vfx artists, actors to directors and haunting musical scores. This author, Alexa Nichols achieved the same affect on me just by herself using words.

Mindblowing...

what a stupid ending.

three stars for the main story. 0.03 stars for the ending. she gets the shaft from her only two friends, then turns into her mom? If your not going to put the same effort into the ending as the middle, should have just sent the dad in with guns blazing. That would have been more romantic/erotic than a baby abandoned in it's crib.
