About this listen
After his heart was crushed when his ex left for another guy, Aaron thought he'd never meet the one. It's his twin Axel that seems to always win the guys. He's the one with the good looks and the hot body after all. Then Aaron meets Zack, the tall hunky multimillionaire who walks into his life and knows what he wants: Aaron.
But something's not quite right with Zack and Aaron can't put his finger on what it is. He has an air of mystery like he's hiding something and little does Aaron know, Zack's a lot closer to him than he thinks.
If you're a fan of Kindle Alexander, Riley Hart, Josh Lanyon, Nicola Haken, or S.E. Jakes, you'll love this new series.
This is a gay romance adaptation of the New Adult book Obsessed Proposition by Jessica Holly.

Horrible narration
I think I like the story, but the narrator threw me completely off. Perhaps I'll read it.

Intriguing
Okay, this is a strange series. The books seem like they stand alone, but now I'm not sure it's intended that way. There is a cliffhanger at the end, but that didn't hurt the story.
My big problem with this one is how Aaron is clearly not ready for an intimate relationships and Zach just keeps pushing and pushing till he gets what he wants.
The double shocker ending comes out of nowhere and made me even more unhappy with Zach... strangely though, I feel the need to know how Jamie Lake is going to resolve this one. Unfortunately I can't figure this damn series out and have no idea where to even find the rest of Aaron and Zach's story!

Maybe
The story was okay, but I had a few issues with part of it, some secrets should not have been kept. The narrators did a good job, but his voice did not fit the characters for me. Recommend that you listen to the sample before deciding.

Liked this version of the adaptation!
Jamie Lake is a new ro to me author and I quite liked this adaptation. The plot was compelling and Guy Veryzer did a great Job with the narration. I would definitely recommend this.

solid 3.5 stars
Would I listen to it again: maybe
Did the story keep me engaged: reasonably
Was I invested in the characters: enough to keep me interested
Story comment? good pace, likeable characters and interesting story.
I'm a bit on the fence with the narration. There are differences in the characters voices and the rhythm and intonations are OK and work to bring life to the characters for the most part, but the characters voices need to be younger than the narration gave them and some of the words and pauses are stretched out in places that just didn't work for me.
