About this listen

Tess Gentry fled her home 10 years ago to find a normal life, in a place where male wolf shifters didn't exist. As the daughter of one, the odds of having compatible DNA to carry cubs were high, and becoming a broodmare to increase the furry population was, for her, an intolerable position. Now she's come back home to take care of her mother and, as fate laughs, she finds herself face to face with her destiny.

From the first tantalizing touch of hunky Sheriff Caleb Bennett, her defenses crumble and her own wolf howls in ecstasy. Though females can't shift, they do go into mating heat, and Tess and Caleb light up the town with their passion. But what happens when the initial blistering need for sex wears off? Can she get past her fear and anger and learn to love a shifter? Or will she just leave again?

A wolf in sheriff's clothing..

I was offered this audio book free of any cost & in return I'd like to offer my unbiased review . Jennifer Dellerman has written an interesting book , here is just a short glimpse into the story because I don't want or like spoilers being revealed . Tess moved from her home to get away from wolf shifters but her Mother becomes ill so she moves back home & ends up falling for the local sheriff . Things get hot & the sex flows , the thing Tess didn't realise was Caleb , that's the sheriff , is a wolf shifter . Very well narrated by Lee Ann Howlett , she keeps the story flowing ..

Very enjoyable

I found this audiobook to be very enjoyable. It has a lot of hot scenes along with romance and suspense. The narrator does a wonderful job of voicing each character and making the story flow.

audio was poor quality

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The story was okay and the bad quality of the audio brought down the whole experience for me

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would try to edit the audio quality becauseit sounded like it was tape with a cheap recorder

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Lee Ann Howlett?

Yes she didn't any charisma or emotion

Shifting Positions

Overall I liked the story. I enjoyed reading over listening to it. The narrator was good but her voice sounded more like an older woman rather than the character she was portraying which thru me off. I loved the story but got aggravated with h for her reasons for holding back on the sheriff.

Awful! Awful, awful

Dismal story line, wimpy heroine, appalling dialog, awful narrator. Not worth it even if it was free.
