Publisher's summary
Prosper Quintero has always been a daddy’s girl but when she decides she no longer wants in on the family business, it causes a rift between the two of them. As if that’s not even for her to deal with, drama emerges in her life when she falls head over heels for the enemy and an ex lover tries to weasel their way back into her life.
Kiss Miller is trying to pick up the pieces after she lost the love of her life. After vicious rumors go around about her hand in his death, she has no one in her corner except for her late boyfriend’s sister. All she wants to do is live a peaceful life and raise her daughters with no drama. Things start to look up for Kiss when she gets a job working for the suave but quick tempered Priest Quintero. The one thing she wasn’t expecting was to fall for him. Secrets and skeletons from both of their pasts threaten to destroy the bond the two have built.
In the Quintero family, there is one lesson you will learn; you never know who you can trust, not even those closest to you.

Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Story
Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

Story
Romance can be a little complicated when you get sucked into a wormhole. Just ask high school English teacher June Flint. One little solar flare happens and suddenly you find yourself 85 years in the future. Eighty-five years from your dream job. Your ailing mother whose only companion in this world is you. Your favorite stuffed-crust pizza from DeLucia’s on Sunday nights. But when June’s cell phone inexplicably picks up a signal, she’s able to call back to the present—more specifically, four weeks before she accidentally time traveled.

Story
Eight years ago I fell into a secret summer fling with my best friend’s little sister before our lives went in different directions. Now, I’m the grumpy to Juliet’s sunshine on a popular dating podcast we host, and when a wealthy fan gives us a charming coastal cottage as the biggest thank you ever, we head to the town where I grew up to give it a makeover. And find the house has only one bed. Located under a mirrored ceiling.

Great story line
The narration is terrible I felt like Alexa was reading to me. No emotion really robotic not a fan of virtual narration. But if you can get past the narration the book is AMAZING!! I can’t wait until part 2 release.
