Dedicated scientist Laura Manning's IQ is off the charts. But beneath her pristine white lab coat is a curvaceous body that craves satisfaction. And it's hard keeping her mind on the experiment and off what's under the lab coat of her research partner, Jay Cutler, whom she's working with to develop a libido suppressant for a society gone sex mad - especially when Jay offers to act as a human guinea pig.
Laura's job is to entice Jay, to determine if the suppressant tamps down his desires - but the "antidote" seems only to heat them up...and there's only one scandalous way to deal with it! With long days of laboratory work giving way to sizzling nights of sensual experimentation, soon their pleasure games are getting a bit out of control.
But who in her right mind would pull the plug on her man's libido when the loving is this deliciously hot?

Nice erotic story.

This book is supposed to be a contemporary romance. It is written like a Victorian romance. I had a difficult time believing either Laura or May were real people, as they acted more like plot devices. It took several chapters to describe one scene. This work was drawn out with so much descriptive text, it actually bored me. An example of dialog, "As he inhaled her tang, his shaft ached to plunder her." Seriously ?! The constant use of the word pleasure was ridiculous. His pleasure, her pleasure, etc and on and on, like the author was afraid to describe anatomy. I just finished a fantastic book called Friction by Sawyer Bennett and she managed to write a believable, contemporary romance that was smoking hot without being vulgar or derogatory. She kept it real and believable. I read this book using immersion reading while listening to the audiobook. The major saving grace of this was narrator Erica Bell. Her beautiful, smooth, creamy voice was incredible. If you are offended by more risqué language, than this book is for you. Join the heaving bosom crowd. Otherwise find something else.
Excellent Narration, Otherwise Wordy & Predictable
