About this listen

Being raised by my abusive stepfather forced me to look outside my home for a male role model. I didn't have to go far to find one. My freshman year in high school, Percy "P-Nut" Welsh moved next door.

A patched member of SoCal's notorious Filthy F--kers MC, he was an easy man to admire and befriend. He was respectful, kind, and intelligent. We soon became close friends, and that friendship lasted long after I graduated. As I grew older, my feelings for him changed, but I chose to keep my thoughts to myself.

When my life turned tragic one day, Percy stepped in and saved me.

He saw it as his duty.

I viewed at it as an opportunity.

I wanted him so bad I ached. There were two things that prevented me from having him:

One; I was a virgin, and I wasn't about to give myself to someone who wasn't committed. And, two; Percy didn't do relationships.

Nuts is a unique friends-to-lovers erotic romance tale that has no cheating, no sex outside the relationship, and the most heartwarming of HEAs. Although it is book five of a series, it is a stand-alone novel that does not require reading any other novels in the series to enjoy.

could have been better

I have never read this writer before and was excited to read the story line I don't really like books that deal with too much violence like my romance sweet and sappy and this seemed to fit the bill however the characters were a little underdeveloped and information was thrown in without need. There was a lot of repeating such as the main male character had trust issues and the main female character had daddy issues. there was a lot of fist-bumping you have been forewarned. This wasn't the worst book I've read I was just underwhelmed. I've got to read it with the romance escape package and didn't spend any real money on it.

Good story

This wasn’t my favourite but it is still a really good story. Loved nuts probably because I loved the male narrator. Wasn’t thrilled with the female Joey, but again. It might be due to the female narrator who just seemed wrong for this character to me. The author does great characters and is one of my favourite male authors. He brings a lot of strong emotions to his stories. Since the final story for this series isn’t in audible I have downloaded the book.

A Scott Hildreth book is never bad!

I really liked the male character in this one. The female character was a little dippy for me. The story overall was good. And I was glad to see Bama pop in. The male reader was great! The female reader reminded me of Nina Blackwood. Her gravely-smokers voice was not a good fit for a 20 year old girl.

Joey and Percy

A beautifully captivating, and endearing journey to go with Joey and Percy. I enjoyed this story.

Simply Awesome

this book has everything in it, romance, sex, well developed characters, and a little bit of funny :) The only thing I ever dread hearing in a Scott Hildreth book is "epilogue" only because that means the book is over. you just cant go wrong with his books and the narrator is amazing as well

Love the book. Not fond of the readers.

What bothered me the most was the two very distinct accents that the readers gave the characters. The characters were from SoCal, but RH gave them a VERY distinctive East Coast NY/NJ accent and BS read PNut with a Southern drawl. It was hard to listen to.

I would have thought the readers would get together and agree on how each character was to sound.

A good story that eschews cookie cutter MC plots

I enjoyed the story and the fact that it didn't exactly follow the normal pattern for MC Romances. The narration was good, but didn't enhance the story. I love seeing the human side of the FFMC revealed through each new book in the series, and will be sad when I've read the last one.
