About this listen

I'm his captive … and I want him to keep me.

I was only a child when everything changed. Too young to understand, too old to forget. Broken and damaged.

I thought nothing good could ever happen to me, but 10 years later, something did. I met a man. He swept me off my feet and swooned me into his bed. Cole's touch was perfect. His lips were made of velvet obsession. They helped me forget the memories that burned me from the inside out. For the first time in forever, I was happy.

Then he locked me inside his home. He told me it was for my safety. And it was so easy to believe him. I was tired of looking over my shoulder, tired of the fear that someone was always watching me.

Cole wanted to protect me. I was ready to let him. With him holding me close, all the evil in the world can't burn me.

But what happens when our pasts collide, threatening to tear us apart?

Note: Keep Me is a full length, dark romance novel with no cliffhanger. This emotional and dark listen may contain material that might make the listener uncomfortable.

Very dark theme

Not at all what was anticipated from the genre and the title. The story was compelling. It appeared as though it was taken from the news until the final chapter. I find in life situations described in the story don’t end happily.

It was...alright

the man's voice was lack luster. in the first chapter the author describes the man's voice as this deep dark self voice. that was not his voice at all. the woman's voice was actually deeper than his. her performance was fantastic. other than the voices, the story was alright. predictable at times, but it wasn't horrible. it was simply okay.

Keep Me

My first book from Leah Holt and is was pretty good. The narrators are new to me and they both did a great job! This book🎧has many triggers & angst so if you’re a sensitive reader🎧you should pass. Thankfully it does end with a HEA❣️ Is it worth a credit? Yes, if you like all of the above…Enjoy.

Good story

A very engaging story line. My only criticism is that the jump between present and past was not always clear.

Captivating Dark Romance

This was a good stalker/dark romance. I loved Cole’s role. There were so many twists and the story just kept getting better & better. Locke worked so hard to put her past behind her and just when she was ready to let go and move on…bam! Cole brings out her worst fear. Ahhh it was so good. I can’t really tell you much without giving it all away. Loved the duo narration. Both were so great.

Okay.

Such a tragic story intertwined in this book. The male narrator was very robotic. But I did like it overall.

Not the best but worth the read

I like the book but did have some issues with the beginning of the plot. I felt it could have been a very great book but might have been rushed to publish so the plot wasn't very thought out. However, it was good and I enjoyed reading it. A quick read for sure. If you find it on sale or free, by all means, however, it is not worth the full credit or full cost. It was a great read for when between books and you are not sure what way you want to go next.

Wow! I was hooked from the start!

Two tortured, damaged souls that suffered horribly because of the actions of another. Now, years later tough decisions have to be made, lives need to be lived and somehow, happiness has to be found. This story had me hooked from go! Dark, twisted, naughty, forbidden and powerful! I finished it, and promptly started it over from the beginning and listened to it again! It was that good! Some of the reviews are a bit harsh. In my opinion, unjustly so. You can’t pick your family, family dynamics can be very dicey and some families have no shortage of monsters.
