It's just okay
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
No. I feel like this was an abridged version. It seemed like there were a lot of things missing. One second it is going along great, I was enjoying the banter, then I was wondering 'where did that come from?'...
What would have made this romance irresistible?
If the author had taken a little more time to take us through the story with more details. This isn't a movie, it's a book...
Any additional comments?
This audio version needed to be edited better. There were complete sentences that were repeated. I think maybe something was read, they didn't like how it was read, so it was read differently and they forgot to remove the one they didn't like.

So FUNNY!
Oh My! I haven't laughed so hard at a book in such a long time... I mean I nearly rolled off the bed, because I was having a giggling convulsion!
Ok... So Sarah is such a one of kind character! From the moment the book started, her conversation with her BFF about how she totally sneaked her way into a high paying executive position... was just LOL! Ok... then once she meets Harry aka BEN, it was just too funny. Sarah is a drama graduate and she totally lies throughout the entire book, but she constantly says "I'm not a liar", but she is so innocent with it...it is just so darn funny...
Ok... now Ben...aka Harry is the CEO who meets this kooky girl who has it good with the CEO of ZOOM Corp, but he is the CEO which Sarah has no idea... and the lies Sarah tells, then...
OMG>.. the funniest part of this book, is when Sarah gets caught up in her lies, and meets Ben (who she created)... Harry in his office, and she pretends to be possessed by a French Aristocrat! There are no words... so funny... like pee yourself funny.
Sarah and Harry's relationship really picks up from there, but Sarah is still so darn kooky... but when Harry does a reversal, and tells Sarah about his ex, and how she died... OMG!
I know right... like death is not supposed to be funny... but OMG! Harry's story was so funny... and Sarah was crying... then WHAM! OMG!!!
And the ending... GREAT!
I have never rated a Helen Cooper book 5-stars... Never... I either don't like her books or they are one-hitters (one time listen/read)...but this .... I have literally listened to it like 5 times and it still doesn't get old... Just so funny... And the smexy time was pretty darn good.. the best I think Cooper has ever written...
So ... yeah I liked the book..a.whole lot...
I really think a narrator will make or break an audio book... and I loved the narrator for this one... The way Bethea did Sarah was absolutely perfect... Sarah's kookiness really shown through..
Great buy, credit or sale.

A Zany Romp About Unexpected Love!
A Zany Romp About Unexpected Love That Will Have You In Stitches! Sarah Smith Is A Drama Queen Extraordinaire Who Ad Libs And Fakes Her Way Through Tricky Situations, But She Meets Her Match In CEO Harry Green.
Sarah Karen Smith, twenty-two, thinks she won the lottery when a case of mistaken identity lands her an executive position at Green & Hall's Corporation. She and her long time best friend and roommate Katy recently graduated from college in NYC, but if they don't land decent jobs soon they will have no choice but to return home to Florida. The six digit executive salary is too good to pass, so Sarah just goes with it, hoping to figure out how to do her new job before she is discovered. The fact that Sarah was a drama major at NYU and not the Harvard MBA actually hired for the job presents a huge learning curve, but Sarah is determined to trudge on, even if it requires some flirting.
An accidental encounter with a handsome but older man at work throws Sarah off her game. He is infuriating and inappropriate, but she can't help but take him up on his invitation to join him for drinks.
Harrison Bradley Green, thirty-two, is the demanding and sometimes hot headed
CEO of Green & Hall's Corporation. He doesn't believe in romantic love. Women are interested in his money or social status more so than in him personally. But he loves his life and wouldn't trade casual relationships with a multitude of beautiful women for the constrained life of marriage.
Neither Harry nor Sarah expects anything to become of their one night out, but they can't escape their off the charts attraction to one another. Harry is all man compared to the boys Sarah dated in college. And amazingly, he isn't embarrassed by her kooky behavior, which had been a problem for her in the past. Harry has never met someone so carefree and uninhibited before Sarah. Being with her is liberating. But Harry has some issues that hold him back. As Sarah recognizes that she has real feelings for Harry, she has to deal with the uncertainty that he will ever be able to be open to love. The couple eventually earns a sweet HEA. The story ends with a lead in to a follow up story about Sarah's friend Katy.
Harry and Sarah's story is a zany romp about unexpected love that will have you in stitches! Sarah Smith is a drama queen extraordinaire who ad libs and fakes her way through tricky situations, but she meets her match in CEO Harry Green. Their quick and witty banter combine with steamy romance to make for an entertaining read. Their story is well-written. The plot is somewhat complex. There are unexpected turns that maintain interest. The characters are nicely developed. The story is written in first person in Sarah's POV. I rate this book four stars.
As for the Audio: is it nicely performed and mostly consistent with the book.

A little immature for me
I struggled to finish this book. The narrator's female voice was annoying and the female character immature. I am not sure if the audio was pre listened to before posting but mant sentences during the audio were repeated. I would rate this book as not exceptional
