About this listen

I am so in love with you, Charlie, I can't see straight.

Deck:
Ex-commando Deck Johnston has a busy life. He is the boss of a successful construction company. The cofounder and sergeant at arms of the Wounded Souls MC. And he is a single father to a three-year-old blue-eyed, raven-haired princess - who has a liking for guns, camouflage, pink tutus, and cursing.

Deck's life is full, and he isn't looking for anything more. That is, until a sweet ballet dancer who happens to be his daughter's daycare teacher comes along and knocks the weapon specialist on his ass.

Charlotte:
Charlotte Jackson's life is not going the way she expected. An injury ended her dancing career a decade too early. She is in debt to her cold-hearted family, she drives a POS car, lives in apartment the size of a shoebox, and owns an abnormally large white cat that hates her and everyone else.

She didn't expect to fall for the father of her favorite daycare student. A tall, muscled alpha former soldier with the bluest eyes she has ever seen. With one look into his sapphire eyes, her life was turned upside down.

On their way to love, will Deck trust Charlotte with the other piece of his heart: his daughter? Will he let her help him overcome the PTSD ravaging him from his years of deployment? Will Charlotte find the love she has always craved and finally get her very own happily-ever-after about which she has always dreamed?

Contains mature themes.

A Great Listen!

I loved reading this book but listening was even better. This is a great series about love honor and family with a Wonderful Mystery thrown in. You will love these men and their strong women.

Deck and Charlotte

I read this book when it first released and have read it several times since. I loved it then but listening to it is on another level. It truly came to life by the wonderful narrators; Antony Ferguson and Cat Gould. This is an intriguing, suspenseful, exciting and absolutely romantic story. My heart was captivated from the beginning and left smiling in the end. This is definitely a book that I will read and listen to over and over. Well done Ms. Sharelle.

It was alright

It was good story line but I felt like the main character was constantly getting walked all over. There was no standing up for herself. I don’t even want to listen to the other books because I’m sure it’ll be the same more or less and that’s truly disappointing..

needs a complete re-write

Ms. Sharelle,
How about a re-write? Premise of a single biker dad and a swearing toddler is interesting. But the rest? How about problems with her mouth and the need for someone from the outside to teach her manners? The need to prepare her for life outside the compound? You would need a REALLY interesting reason that her dance teacher would take this on....a family member with a tie to the child's mother? A reluctant pairing of the biker and the dancer in a common cause that SLOWLY develops into something more? Just some thoughts... You've got some unique, interesting ideas but they need work.

not worth it.

melodramatic, tedious, and terrible narrative. not worth wasting your time. plus, 10 hours is too long for such an uninspired plot.
