About this listen
CJ's father, Charles Webber, had been a real bastard all her life. And when her mom died he'd told her that without Becky there to make him acknowledge CJ as his daughter, he was finished with her and she was never to darken his door again. The slap that bloodied her mouth at her mom's funeral had been more than enough to make his point. So she didn't, not even to come home to his funeral.
Austin Force wanted the property that the prick Webber owned. He wanted it for his pack and the house for his mom to call hers. But Webber dying had him dancing a jig and contacting the lawyer to make an offer. But finding that the man had a daughter and that she was his mate had Austin at his wits end.
Austin didn't want to be impressed by her. He didn't want to like her. He wanted her to obey him, whelp a few pups so she wouldn't be bored and run his house for him. CJ wanted to do as she please which included maybe murdering the Alpha in his sleep. The two of them coming together is wonderfully steamy and sarcastic wit. Austin and CJ will make great alpha's...or will they?

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Good Book
This was a good read/listen and but not the best. I liked the way the author was going with the story but it could have been better. Worth getting though. The lady reading the book did well but that could have been a bit better also but over all I will listen to other books she reads. The part I hated the most was the annoying snipit of music played in between chapters. That was awful and quite . . . distasteful! The book was entertaining though but no more then a 4 star or maybe a 3.5 with that music.

Pretty good
I like the story line and I really liked CJ. The story had a little mystery mixed in with the erotica, a very little mystery. lol A little bit more dedicated to the climax of the mystery would have added more depth to the story, but overall I enjoyed the story.
The recording had an echo at the beginning and there where several places where you could hear Liona Gem swallowing. But I liked her voices, male and female.
Overall worth it! :)

Decent story & narrator
Would you consider the audio edition of Force of Nature to be better than the print version?
Maybe, it depends on how critical one is. There is music between the chapters. Nice guitar music, and not long, but slightly annoying.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Force of Nature?
I like the packs Mom, and the "hero" character seriously lacks clues. Makes for some funny.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Liona Gem?
yes
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Laughs
Any additional comments?
The narrator needs a little polish, and Please! No Music in between chapters, however brief!

A nice surprise...
I was a little sceptic when I bought this book, but I found that I really liked it. Mainly because CJ is a real hard-ass and don't take crap from anybody.
This is a good story mixed with a dominant alpha male, romance, action and some hot and sexy scenes.
I think the narrator did an ok job, but not one of my favorite.
If you like shifter stories with dominant alpha males and strong kick-ass females, then you would definitely like this one. This is certainly worth the credit.

Poor Audio Quality, So-So Narrator
What would have made Force of Nature better?
Better story, better narrator, better audio quality.
Has Force of Nature turned you off from other books in this genre?
Not at all. There are some excellent series in this genre, such as those by Patricia Briggs, Jeaniene Frost, Lora Leigh, and Lara Adrian.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Little variation in voices. Plus, recording quality was so poor I could not finish listening to the audiobook and just finished reading the book on my Kindle. I even downloaded the book again just to see if the download was flawed. It still sounded as if the recording was done in a well.
Any additional comments?
The premise of the book sounded so promising but the execution left much to be desired. The story seemed to flip-flop, undecided on what direction it would take. The main characters were not very likeable, the male lead spending most of the book being as ass; the female lead, a spoiled brat.
