About this listen

Cash was living the life of the lieutenant of The Last Riders, and he had women at his beck and call. The only thing he saw himself settling down with in the future was a 12-pack...and certainly not Rachel Porter. Hell, she wasn't even his type - her tits were too small, and her mean mouth could shrivel a man's dick. How was he supposed to know she was special and worth putting up with those weed-producing hillbillies? Or was she?

Rachel had lived her whole life watching Cash break one woman's heart after another. He was everything she shouldn't want - a bad boy biker with enough sex appeal to make any woman want a night in his bed. Even her. Heck, he wasn't even her type - he didn't know when to keep his mouth shut and lived in a sex club. How was she supposed to know that he was special and worth putting up with the biker wars and biker bitches? Or was he?

Contains mature themes.

MC romance. 3POV. HEA. Standalone.

This is a “sizzling” biker romance with plenty of grit. It’s not a hearts and flowers romance. There’s a little mmf action thrown in there. I don’t understand the whole religious intentions of this series but it’s still good. It’s told in third person and I’m not a fan. Especially when a female narrates for the makes POV. There’s an Hea and you get more info on previous characters from this series. It can be read as a standalone but would be better to read at least one of the previous books.

another fantastic book from the author!

I loved this book, it had everything, and I enjoy how in every book we catch up with all the couples, and it for sure has some steamy stuff in it as well, and a continuation of a storyline that leads into the next book can't wait to listen to it!

Jamie Begley delivers!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely, especially if you've invested your time with the others.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed the element of mysticism that was used. It's always great when you pair up a great, strong woman with a stubborn, strong man!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Carly Robins?

I would like to the see Elizabeth Hart return and narrate the next books.

Any additional comments?

Jamie Begley brings a true grit to her novels. I have enjoyed all of them. Unfortunately this narrator killed the joy I've had listening to the previous books. Nothing against Ms. Robins, but her voice just wasn't a great fit here. When you've invested so many hours listening to a narration with the same narrator, and then to have them change the narrator, you lose something in the translation. It throws the whole balance off, at least for me. I will seriously have to consider whether or no I purchase the next installment of this series, if this is the narrator they are going to use.

Great Series

The story line continues to be a very good. The narrator was pretty good but it kind of irritated me with the mispronunciation of Kill Ya Ma’s name. That tells me that she knew nothing of the first books of the series.

Emotional Love Story

No spoilers. Story could have been longer. Secondary characters bring additional life into the story which I enjoyed. There was humor, tears, alpha males who are manwh*** with beliefs it’s their way of sexual freedom or no way. He used Rachel, publicly humiliated her, no apologies even when she helped heal him. Cash then had to have his relief with excessive sex and flaunted his escapes openly. Weak FMC for not making MMC grovel, bending to Cash’s sexual proclivities. Three some with Train. Enjoyed the secret reveal at the end of their story. Absolutely loved how the narrator/author verbalized Rachel’s innermost thoughts when healing.

Story was great, narrator was a struggle

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. However, the narrator was awful. I hate her male voices. The men in the story are tough motorcycle club bad@$$ veterans. She made them sound like goofy 12 year-old boys. Not good.

PHAT Pretty Hot And Tempting

Any additional comments?

I truly love this series I just wish someone would help Jamie Begley select narrators. The books would be five stars all around if the narrators were better. These tough bikers should sound big, bad and manly but they sound more like a Pewny Girly Men. Help the Last Riders Sebastian York, Jor Arden or Christian Fox would be excellent.

Awful narration

Would you listen to Cash's Fight again? Why?

No. The narration was absolutely awful. Voices sounded like cartoon characters and the mispronunciation of words was difficult to over come. Kill Yama instead of kill ya momma was really difficult to hear as it was mispronounced so many times.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Loved Rachel!

Would you be willing to try another one of Carly Robins’s performances?

No.
